Many people criticize BCAA products, claiming there is no scientific evidence of their effectiveness. Perhaps so, but the proof is in the pudding. XTEND is so effective that it cannot be a mere placebo effect. Two scoops are more effective than one, especially for very long and strenuous workouts. I feel it is particularly important for high-rep workouts, as it helps with endurance.Among all the flavors, my favorite is watermelon. It’s good to change flavors from time to time, but watermelon is definitely my go-to. I suggest drinking it ice cold.

I am an expert do not go with just the 3 aminos Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine what you need is all 9 essential amino's if you want recovery and muscle protein synthesis, but your better off eating food for growth like eggs contribute to more actual muscle tissue than BCAA's or any liquid form of amino's I tested this theory out for 6 years and found more growth with actual foods like eggs beef, chicken is more about repairing your muscle than size of your muscle. I found Eggs and Beef more for size. mix veggies and salad with that for health and your good to go for lean muscle gains. I do like the flavour of these though they are A/ unhealthy for you and B/ do not do anything as it doesn't contain all the essential amino acids, and thus anything with just the 3 aminos ... MoreI am an expert do not go with just the 3 aminos Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine what you need is all 9 essential amino's if you want recovery and muscle protein synthesis, but your better off eating food for growth like eggs contribute to more actual muscle tissue than BCAA's or any liquid form of amino's I tested this theory out for 6 years and found more growth with actual foods like eggs beef, chicken is more about repairing your muscle than size of your muscle. Yeah it's safe to say not only a scamming industry but also one that can cause the end of life. I recently bought another one because it was cheaper than 46 quid, and not for myself, people just won't listen to knowledge, and since I'm not one to judge anyone, to each their own. I just hope he doesn't live to regret this. -Update-2- I did some research on something important, the industry likes to over price this at 50-70 for 1KG at some point they put the price down so those 1-2 year left expiry dates come closer to the end of life, they also put the price down to make sales at certain times, to make you think it's more valuable than it is. The truth is the price shouldn't be more than 30 for 1KG as once opened the air in the tub begins to oxidize, oxidation degrades fast with time and temperatures and oxygen inside the tub, unless you can figure out a way to vacuum seal the tubs they come in. The price should be really low as it can only be used for shorter amount of time possibly under 2-3 weeks before it starts to really degrade fast. Higher temperatures will degrade this even faster. store in cold dry place.

I'm so glad I decided to try XTEND's Original BCAA Blue Raspberry Ice! I'm an avid athlete, and this supplement has been a great addition to my post-workout routine. The flavor is amazing - like a sweet blue raspberry slushie! Not only does it taste great, but it also helps to replenish electrolytes and support muscle recovery. I've been taking it for a few months now and I can definitely tell a difference in my workouts. I feel energized, refreshed, and ready to tackle my next activity. Highly recommend XTEND's BCAA supplement for anyone looking to optimize their workout performance!
I bought Xtend BCAA towards the end of summer for my son. He is 13 years old and plays travel baseball. He plays catcher, and at 5'5 140lbs doing 1,000 squats over a 95° weekend he was having trouble recovering. I found the Xtend BCAA and bought it hoping it would help. It did not disappoint. I gave him a 12oz mixture before and after games. He had a lot more energy and performed much better. He wasn't even remotely as tired after games, and wasn't as cranky as he would normally be. He didn't want to drink this stuff at first, but after experiencing the benefit of it he continued to take it without any hesitation. So, if you are doing high intensity workouts and sweating a ton this could be the product for you.
In general I like to have BCAA as a intra-workout supplement, I once read/heard that i works nicely as something to avoid your muscle to be damaged by your own body and used as fuel during your exercises. So if this is correct, the idea is basically that it works to protect your muscles from catabolism and works almost as fuel (kind of carbohydrate function). This is why I like when there are some BCAA in my pre-workout, but I don't care if there isn't any - they are more important during the workout. The quality is good as its reputation sugests, the ingredient profile delivers 7g of BCAA at 2:1:1 ratio (most common, although some people likes to have a lot of Leucine) with some good additions: electrolytes, vitamin b6, 2.5g of glutamine and 1g of Citrulline Malate ... MoreIn general I like to have BCAA as a intra-workout supplement, I once read/heard that i works nicely as something to avoid your muscle to be damaged by your own body and used as fuel during your exercises. Favorite? I would say that the size is big, so it makes me want to try a new flavor constantly. Citrus are not my favorite taste so can't judge. I add some carbs and that's my intra-workout, as I hit the gym early in the morning, the PWO with some carbs, some pomegrante juice (also for the pump) and this BCAA are enough to make me endure all the training session. If you are not sure if you will like the taste or the product itself there are also option with less servings.
The taste and smell is great with the green apple and Watermelon flavours. It does help with my POTS quite a bit (I need a lot of salt, electrolytes and water every day to keep my blood volume up). Will definitely buy again. The fruit punch flavour is non existent and the smell is kind of bad, I wouldn't recommend that one. I tried the fruit punch flavour a few more times and it's honestly horrible. It frothy up so much, has nasty grainy sandy bits floating around after mixing, and it leaves a residue on mixer bottles... Gross. I suggest that the company use a much wider, shorter jar and a jar that doesn't have a sharp lip on the inside. The top is barely big enough to put my hand in (and my hands are small) to get the rest of the powder. This used to be my favourite product. Bought Scivation BCAA products for years but when they were taken over the recipe changed, what used to taste great and provide great workout effects now tastes like chalk and does not mix well at all. Also short date delivered, QR code doesn't work and I got a headache after taking it. Scivation Xtend used to be my absolute favourite. Such a massive shame how this product has been ruined. Even swapped out Cit Malate in the old recipe 1000g for L Citrulline 500g. The design is even stupid, you need tiny hands to be able to scoop out the powder from the bottom.
