Good, but the view through the lid gets blocked with steam when I make porridge. I now use the old Scanpan lid that does not get blocked. The vent holes are on the lid rim on the old version. The new lid has the vent holes on the top of the lid.The new pot cooks quicker and is easier to clean.

Very heavy for it's size, long handle makes it worse. I bought a Scanpan, a Greenpan, and a Myer pan to compare. This one cost the most and is the one I'll use last. It feels solid and the nonstick is good so far, but the shape feels like they tried to innovate for the sake of it. I should have tried the classic design.

My husband and I decided hat our current pots and pans were overdue for replacement and my husband researched high quality brands, choosing ScanPan Haptiq. I purchased the pot and lid as an anniversary present for him. He loves it and it never hurts to make my husband happy.

I have quite a few Scan Pans and I have never regretted investing in a Scan Pan. I selected the 2.6 to substitute for my 2 qt. Revere Ware saucepan that often requires a soak to clean. It never occurred to me until now that this pan will save water because of the easy cleanup. LOL I live in California!
This pan makes a difference in the food I cook. No sticking and things like hot cereal and rice are perfect!
This replaces an older Scanpan pot I'd had for years and carelessly burned the bottom! I would not replace my Scanpans ever with anything else!
I'm using this pot to cook tomato sauce for pasta. In little time a part of the non-stick coating start to fall apart. Yes, they changed the pot... but I'm very disappointed.
Very hardwearing saucepan... I haven't burnt it yet so I can't say how it would cope with that but so far, I'm very pleased with it. Just the one draw-back. The bolts for the handle are inside the pan which can make cleaning it difficult; I've had pans before where there are no bolts on the inside and they prove to be easier for cleaning. Notwithstanding, I'm very happy with my saucepan and would purchase a similar one again.
