Bought into the hype as I love Saucony shoes, however my experience changes how I feel. I wanted a better shoe to half marathons and this was the shoe I was pointed too. I broke them in on the tread and felt they were ready for the road. I did my last long run for the race in them and no response but the tongue slid a few times. On race day, I experienced the tongue sliding again but on the last 3 miles I got a small rock in the side hole of the shoe. I tried to run it loose but it didn’t work and I had to stop, I shook out my shoe and lost some time on my race. I didn’t think the hole would have been an issue but it caused me like 2 mins. No yo use the shoe again? I need to stitch something over that hole.

I bought these before my Budapest marathon. I ran in them for 4 times before the race. After about a 10km distance I got some slight uncomfortable feeling around the ball of my foot. I thought it was just part of the getting used to process, so after some hesitation I decided to wear them for my race. It was a big mistake! Yes, they are fast, responsive but that pain around my 1st and 2nd metatarsal area was very distressing and slowed me down. They might be good for some but definitely not for me. I will keep them for short distances.

Purchased this shoe about a month ago. I’ve only run 20 miles in the shoe, including a 13 mile workout and then a 10k race. During the workout, they were super comfortable and my goal paces felt effortless. I switched to my Vaporfly 3’s mid workout for a comparison and definitely felt the endorphin elites were way more protective and a felt a bit more effortless to hit my paces. So I took these out on my next 10k race and they were incredible.I also own the endorphin pro 3 and used them for training in my last marathon cycle. I also love the pro 3s, but chose not to race in them because they are a bit too relaxed and soft. I give 1 start to the quality of the materials. First time I wear them for a 10K race, the sole is shredding! The whole race was on concrete. Too bad, I really like them, they are super light, excellent front point, feel like they move you. However, they are very pricey for something that is flimsy. The upper materials / mesh is also very fragile. If you pull harder, they will break. I am pretty disappointed of the price / quality of this product. You also need to have special socks; they have the tendency to bunch your socks or twist them.
Love the feeling and bounce of these shoes. I really didn’t need the elite as I am not a fast runner but I couldn’t pass up the Black Friday deal. These shoes would get a 5 star from me but they are very fitted and caused pain on my pinky toe. I’m going to wear them for my next half and I’ll have to tape my pinky toe. So if you have semi wide feet or toes I’d purchase the men’s version. I purchased the mens version of the pros and I had zero pain or blisters after my marathon. I purchased normal womens shoes for my shift and speed 3s and they do not cause me any toe issues so the elites definitely run smaller. I wouldn’t be surprised if saucony used a smaller form when making them.
This shoe is amazing. It is my first real carbon-plated racing shoe. First, let me say that this shoe is WAY faster and more capable than I am — but it runs quick, it is light, and extremely cushioned and “springy”. Running distances at pace is certainly easier and less taxing than most other shoes I have. This will pay dividends to athletes of all abilities as saving your legs over distances at pace benefits everyone!Fit is generally true to size with it being a snug fit (glove-like is how I’d describe it) — when racing, I generally prefer it to be pretty much spot-on to my foot size. No slippage, no extra room, but also not too tight!I also love the bright “slime” color way — I love the loud and bright colors when running/racing and this doesn’t disappoint! ... MoreThis shoe is amazing. I just ran a 5 min HM PR in these! Granted I had a good training block, good fueling, I felt I have been due for a PR giving all my effort the last couple months. But still, my 5 min PR felt pretty easy for a race. I was cruising ahead of pace for the first 10 miles. Then I kicked it up another notch for the last 5K. The ride was bouncy, light and the stride felt "effortless". If you get the right form, push your hips forward, heel under your butt on the pull, the ride is so comfortable and smooth. The next day, my hips are a teese sore, but dang I feel overall pretty good. The shoes definitely did not beat up my feet or give blisters. Highly recommend if you wanna flyyyyy
Best racing shoes & best recovery- I am in love with these shoes and plan to complete my second marathon inside 4 weeks with them. I’ve always been weary to deviate from my trainers for a marathon but took the risk and it truly paid off. I was given the opportunity to run in the Endorphin Elite as a part of Saucony’s Boston Team, and had both my fastest race ever and smoothest recovery to date. The ultra-lightweight shoe, paired with the carbon plate and forward roll design kept me in good form with fresh feeling legs the whole time. Even with a downpour, these shoes maintained traction. I typically wear a 2A (narrow) trainer but was able to snug these up perfectly and finished the race with no blisters or otherwise. I bought this shoe to run The Boston Marathon in.. 1 because I have raced plenty of races in the Endorphin pro's and felt great... So I figured with the reviews they would be just as great or only better. Boy was I wrong. Now I am not a rookie I did an 8 miler in these and they were fine. The Boston Marathon was my 18th marathon and I have done 19 ultra's so it's like running is something Novice to me. I have run in Saucony for races since 2014-- These shoes by far were terrible by mile 11. The last three digits on each foot started to go numb, the bottoms of my mid foot hurt so bad I could hardly stand it by mile 17 a spectator saw me stop to take my shoes off and rub my feet and ask me if I was ok... This woman gave me the shoes off her feet so I could finish my ... MoreI bought this shoe to run The Boston Marathon in.. 1 because I have raced plenty of races in the Endorphin pro's and felt great... This woman gave me the shoes off her feet so I could finish my race THE BOSTON MARATHON without stabbing pain in my feet, by the way they were HOKAS. I have never run in HOKAS... But I was grateful for them, and that woman. I do truly believe Saucony needs to go back to the drawing board with these shoes. The Best part is seeing the photos of me starting the race in the Saucony's and Finishing in the Hoka's --- Something to be said for that.
I was so excited for this shoe! When it arrived it was so light, and then I wore it for its first run and the tongue on the left shoe would not stay out. It kept rolling in so I changed socks for the next run. Same thing. Third run it happened almost immediately so I ended up returning them. The feel was good, the shoes are so springy, but they feel unnaturally narrow (when compared to the Speed or the Pro). I was really bummed about the tongue quality though. Not worth the price for that kind of hassle.
