I have owned every major generation of Samsung watch since the first and few things have stood out as much as the rotating bezel. For a fidgeter or someone with wet/ gloved or dirty hands, having the ability to interact without using the touch screen is important, and Samsung have delivered on the return of that moving bezel. The watch as it comes is very glassy with a lovely strap, however, the clasp design of the classic leaves much to be desired, regularly coming undone as the strap bands move around, so I changed over to the gametic clasp seen on the active watches. In terms of what makes this more than the s5, there isnt much, because just like s5, it is an exceptional watch with little to add given todays available technologies.in terms of why this is ... MoreI have owned every major generation of Samsung watch since the first and few things have stood out as much as the rotating bezel. In terms of what makes this more than the s5, there isnt much, because just like s5, it is an exceptional watch with little to add given todays available technologies.in terms of why this is worth purchasing if you have an older watch:improved battery lifethe return of the bezellonger software supportbetter battery lifeshiny new gadgetCons:not much of note has changed from older generationsOverall i'd recommend this if you are coming from an s4 or older.

Hi!The build quality and design are truly amazing, I love how beautiful this watch looks!!However, there are several issues on the software side.1. Animations are not smooth. I came from an Apple Watch, and the animations are simply not on par. There are many, many lags throughout the interface, and even something as simple as dragging down the quick settings can be laggy. Also, animated watch faces make the watch much more laggy than usual.2. The Watch comes with 2 message apps. Why? That's bloatware. People really HATE bloatware :(. I would suggest removing that useless Samsung Messages app.3. The charging animation is buggy. Everytime I place my watch on its charger, there's this green animation that comes up, and it's buggy. This doesn't make me feel ... MoreHi!The build quality and design are truly amazing, I love how beautiful this watch looks!!However, there are several issues on the software side.1. This doesn't make me feel like I bought a $600 watch.Overall, if I had 1 thing to say, it's that Samsung should make software their number 1 priority. I want my watch to feel smooth and pleasant to use, and currently, it's not really the case. Premium electronics should come with quality software. Try out an Apple Watch, and compare it's smoothness to the Watch 6, you'll see what I'm talking about. Thanks for reading this! I'm a big Samsung fan, and truly believe that, with great optimisation, Samsung could one day be better than iOS and watchOS :)

My first day using it, it didn't last a full 24 hours. I had full AOD, location on, etc. It only lasts around 18 hours before it was around 5% and needed charging. The day after, I turned almost everything off on the watch. I have AOD off, location off, shut off a LOT of notifications from my phone and only left texts and calendar notifications. The watch after 24 hours have only about 11% battery left. My old gear S3 lasted around 2.5 - 3 days and it did similar to what my new Watch 6 is doing now with all features shut off. I like the newer design and the sleeker form factor. However, for me personally, I am not sure if it was really worth the reduced battery performance.Really disappointed and not sure what's causing the crazy battery drain. For anyone ... MoreMy first day using it, it didn't last a full 24 hours. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic boasts a stunning and elegant design that seamlessly combines style with functionality. It's particularly well-suited for those who are into sports and health monitoring, as its robust selection of sport apps and comprehensive health tracking features make it an ideal companion for active lifestyles. Additionally, the user-friendly interface ensures a smooth and intuitive experience, allowing users to easily navigate through its features and settings.
I like the watch it looks good and learning the features are made easy with the mobile app. Still learning because I had to order and wait for a C adapter to charge the battery and be able to use it. No power adapter in your in your shipping kit just a double sided C cord. Also you need a mobile with Android 10 or higher, I learned that the hatd way. So mow ypu know...
while I do like the watch it comes with some gripes that really get under my skin.Samsung, I want a watch first... sports functions, heart monitoring and all the other stuff after. so please will you make the next gen have an option to be a watch first and foremost!I want a classic style watch with a full bezel (not some skinny bezel but one that protects the screen) stainless or preferably titanium case and a strap to match.Battery is OK but really its needs to be better, no real gains over my 3 year old previous.Type "C" charger is just dumb as they dont provide an adapter. (no II want plug into a lap top as the pictures show)I went for the upgrade to get google wallet as I have an NFC gym card and really disappointed that they don't support store cards ... Morewhile I do like the watch it comes with some gripes that really get under my skin.Samsung, I want a watch first... sports functions, heart monitoring and all the other stuff after. so please will you make the next gen have an option to be a watch first and foremost!I want a classic style watch with a full bezel (not some skinny bezel but one that protects the screen) stainless or preferably titanium case and a strap to match.Battery is OK but really its needs to be better, no real gains over my 3 year old previous.Type "C" charger is just dumb as they dont provide an adapter. (no II want plug into a lap top as the pictures show)I went for the upgrade to get google wallet as I have an NFC gym card and really disappointed that they don't support store cards on the watch so is pointless (not Samsung's fault but they need to address this)Silver finish on the case is tacky! see above about caseFree fabric strap is pointless.Included strap I dislike a lot as is to targeted to being sporty!all in all its OK targeted heavily at GenZ, but needs for me to be a time piece first the rest I'm indifferent too.To finish, I have invested in the Samsung Eco system over many years but was a hart push not to move to apple here!
Having opened the box yesterday, I'm so far pleased with the watch and like the return of the bezzle. What has dissapointed me so far is the charger cable provided has a c type connection at the plug end, and no adaptor is provided. So I will need to buy a new charger plug or c type/USB adaptor so I can charge the watch. The eco leather band is not leather, its rubber. Why bother calling it leather? The free fabric band is white and will lie in a drawer for ever. The forced use of Samsung pay on the long press of the back button is annoying, would have been nice to be able to change this button to an alternative, for those that don't use Samsung pay. None of these issues would prevent me buying the watch, just worth noting for those yet to buy.
The watch is great but occasionally freezes when moving screens. Absolutely love the big screen hence easier to manoeuvre the finger across and easier to see in wet conditions. What I don't like is the strap width, 20mm 🤔. The big watch and slim strap, it look like a pea on the mountain. Not great at all. Could do with 24/26mm to support the massive watch screen. Also, I bought a black watch but came with a white strap, what is that all about.
Bought this 3 weeks ago. Sleep sensors are messed up. It shows I slept when I did not and it shows I am up when I am sleeping. It doesn't detect naps like the watch 5 pro. Battery is okay with power saving mode can get upto almost 2 days with only health features and no calls and music. Floor sensor doesn't work. Heart rate sensors are not the best for weight training. Brought up the issue to samsung they tried whatever they could but issue did not resolve
A digital clock overlay will show over your notifications immediately after you try to look at them. It's a tiny clock that blacks the screen out. There is no option to adjust or disable this "feature". It is infuriating. Also, the Always On Display frequently gets bugged out, and displays an old and incorrect time that does not update. These have both been issues since the GW3 and 4, and yet years later... Samsung does not care. Samsung has never cared!Take caution: Samsung does not care about updating or fixing their software.
