Samsung Galaxy Buds Black

The Samsung Galaxy Buds are a solid option for those in the market for wireless earbuds. They offer good sound quality and noise isolation, and have a sleek, comfortable design that makes them great for everyday use. The touch controls are intuitive and easy to use, and the battery life is decent, offering up to six hours of listening time on a single charge. The Buds also come with a wireless charging case that adds additional battery life and makes them easy to recharge on the go. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Buds are a reliable and high-quality option for anyone looking for a pair of wireless earbuds.

I got the Samsung ear buds several months ago. I got the lavender color which were not represented in the choice option but I decided to do this review for them anyway. I love them so much. The sound quality is amazing and they pair so beautifully with all my devices. I do have a little trouble getting them to move to the next sound track when listening to music but that may be operator error as I am not as young as I once was. I absolutely LOVE the lavender color, so much so that I got the Samsung watch to match. They both great buys and Samsung has never let me down.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 are revolutionary in the wireless headphone market. These earbuds provide an excellent listening experience thanks to their cutting-edge noise cancellation technology, excellent sound clarity, and long battery life. The Galaxy Wearable app offers a simple way to manage different options and keep track of the earbuds' battery life. The earbuds are perfect for workouts and prolonged listening sessions because they fit comfortably in the ear. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 are a great option if you're looking for wireless earbuds with great sound clarity and practical features.

Best Buds

It's fair to say that the most satisfying thing about a new pair of wireless earbuds shouldn't be the process of charging the battery. However, for Galaxy Buds owners who also own one of the variants of Galaxy S10, that may well be the case. I’m not talking about plugging in the USB-C cable, rather the moment you find yourself short of juice, take your S10+, flip it over, place the Galaxy Buds case on to the rear of the phone, and watch the Buds’ charging light ping to life. Now *that* is a feeling of deep satisfaction. It’s important to note, wirelessly charging your Galaxy Buds from your phone isn’t just a party trick, nor is it incredibly useful in a pinch, but it’s also an indication that Samsung is thinking of its product line as an entire ecosystem, rather ... MoreIt's fair to say that the most satisfying thing about a new pair of wireless earbuds shouldn't be the process of charging the battery. It’s important to note, wirelessly charging your Galaxy Buds from your phone isn’t just a party trick, nor is it incredibly useful in a pinch, but it’s also an indication that Samsung is thinking of its product line as an entire ecosystem, rather than siloed products. This may seem like an unusual place to begin a review, but it feels like Samsung’s wireless earbud line have finally achieved truly wireless status, which is an important landmark. As an owner of both previous generations of their earbuds, the Galaxy Buds feel like everything learnt with the previous generations has been applied. Bluetooth connectivity, a little sketchy on previous models, has been improved to the point that in 3 weeks I’ve experienced no issues whatsoever. Other more subtle improvements have been made, such as a more compact pocket-friendly case, and its ‘push-button open’ mechanism (which failed after three weeks on a previous model) has been replaced with a simple foolproof prise-open design. Where they have learnt from issues of earbuds past, they’ve also understood and retained the strengths of previous generations, such as the touch-sensitive shell that allows you to control your music without having to rummage around for your phone. The design, too, is subtle. While a certain Cupertino-based competitor has a design that is ugly but unmistakably ‘them’, Samsung is content to make the Galaxy Buds almost invisible, which for me, is exactly what I’m looking for. Finally, and most importantly, when it comes to audio quality the clarity and depth of tone and bass is fantastic, and again, a further improvement over the already stellar experiences of previous generations. The only drawback is related to the microphone, which falls short of the high bar set by every other aspect of these buds – feedback I’ve had is the mic quality is ‘fine’, but when every other aspect of the Buds is ‘great’, it leaves something for Samsung to improve for the Galaxy Buds 2.

Everlasting buds!

I had my galaxy buds for about a year or so and I have never been more stress free in my life. The great use of my buds is being able to use them where ever I go without being bothered by a long strand of wire.I use my buds on the go while listening to music when I'm out for an exercise and doing chores indoors. One of the great features about my buds that makes it so reliable is being able to turn on/off any background noise. Great use when you're trying to read a book. And like for many or some of you who easily lose a ear piece, the galaxy buds features got you covered by enabling a noise system to locate a missing piece. Which I had to use a couple of times, and the noise locator is very much helpful. My buds are also durable. For a clumsy person as myself, I usually drop my ear pieces on concrete floors or wooden floors; but so far I am very relieved with how durable my buds are that I don't have the need to worry about a piece not working. These buds are worth the purchase if you want to get the feel of how galaxy buds work for your device or day-to-day life.

Great ear buds!

These are really, really good ear buds. I got lucky as they were on rollback for only $49 too, talk about a steal! The sound quality is shockingly good even for the original price, I would have easily bought them for full price that’s how good they sound. The app is a nice touch, a good amount of options, a decent EQ, you can find your earbuds if you lose them by hitting the “find my earbuds” then it’ll create a very high pitch bird chirp type of noise, very easy to find them, I’ve lost mine so many times because I fall asleep with them in a lot. However if your batteries are dead then don’t expect them to work, you’re gonna have to do some searching lol.You can also customize what each earbud does when holding or tapping one or the other. Another thing I like is the “ambient sound” this is probably one of my favorite features. It allows you to hear the outside world (you can change the volume of the ambient noise and they have a special option to optimize for hearing people’s voices). It works really well it’s a very odd sensation because my music or any audio I am listening to is perfectly clear yet I still can hear the outside world quite easily without it making much of a difference in audio quality, it’s a very good safety measure especially if you’re outside so you’re aware of your surroundings. They have an option also where you can just hold one ear bud touch sensor and it’ll turn on “ambient noise” For only as long as you hold it, instead of having it on constantly. Good for the quick “what did you say?” moments without having to take out your earbuds or turn down your volume much or at all.The battery life is very good as well given the size of the buds and the battery pack… which is very small. It can get a bit annoying sometimes if you forget to charge the buds and battery pack however they charge very fast so it’s not much of an issue they also wirelessly charge too which is a nice feature.Anyways, I’d totally 9/10 recommend these!

Great on a budget

Honestly although these might be an older version of newer headphones, these still hold their own. The headphones have an amazing sound that still far exceeds most other headphones in the same price category. Paired with a Samsung phone these work seamlessly, add a Samsung Tablet and you can add productivity to their abilities. You can move from one device to the other extremely easy without having to pair the device and headphones. The sound is rich and can get deep tones with audio especially anything streamed in the lossless formats.I love these headphones more than any other truly wireless options I have. I find myself using them often but with a storage case that also works as a charging base with its own battery source to charge the headphones, I don't need to charge these more than 2x a week at best. Maybe 3 on heavy use weeks but honestly that's rare. The headphones give a solid 8hrs of listening and the base gives at least 3 solid charges, more if you're not using both for the entirety of that 8hrs.Hands down one of if not the best headphones I've ever owned.I forgot to mention one of my favorite features. Using the active noise/voice setting that allows you to use them in environments that you also want to be able to tell when someone is speaking to you and you need to be able to hear them with the headphones on. The earpiece allows for vocals to be focalized through the mics of the headphones. Very neat feature.

Overall Verdict - Exceptional

I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a set of true Bluetooth earphones, and for anyone still rocking the last generation wired earphones, I would strongly advise you to upgrade to this exceptional life changer. While the Galaxy Buds don't boast all of the gimmicky features of Samsung flagship Pro X Buds, they do punch well above their weight class when it comes to value for money. Controllable through Samsung's unmatched Galaxy Wearables app, the Galaxy Buds feature the ability to play real-time audio captured from two independent microphones on their exterior (known as Ambient sound); while these can pick up a fair amount of background/wind noise, they have been exceptionally useful, especially when talking to someone with the buds in. This is because of the Buds rubber driver tips which create a competitive sound seal inside the ear canal, blocking around 75% of ambient sound, something that Apple's Airpods lack. In addition, the Buds can: read aloud incoming notifications, answer or decline incoming phone calls using their touch controls located on the surface of each ear, pause, skip, play previous tracks, and adjust media volume using the two touch-sensitive buttons. Samsung has also updated the Buds to incorporate some of the more advanced features, such as their seamless earbud connection, allowing the user to 'seamlessly' switch between previously paired Bluetooth-enabled devices without having to enter the Buds' initial pairing mode, a very versatile feature. Find my Earbuds have also been incorporated to ensure you do not lose your buds, playing a surprisingly loud location sound allowing you to quickly relocated your lost earphones. The Earbuds' performance is where the device really excels, with powerful bass drivers and the ability to equalize your music to your preferences, the Buds offer excellent music quality. Coupled with Samsung's onboard Dolby Atmos the Buds have never disappointed. With the exception of a few Bluetooth connection dropouts, which last for approximately half a second, I have no complaints about the Buds' performance.Personally, I love the Galaxy Buds design, I think they look smooth, sleek, and modest. I think Samsung have hit the nail on the head with a balance for understated and boastful aesthetics, more than I can say for Apple's appalling attempt at design with their Airpods. Furthermore, the Buds are far less prone to theft, due to the absence of a large cylindrical pole that is easily accessible. Finally, value. Without a doubt, I think Samsung's created a very competitive product with many edges over other competitors. I believe this product is priced perfectly and would pay every penny for another pair of these exceptional earbuds.Thank you for reading.

These are excellent but....

I have had these earbuds for about the last 2 years and I can't express how much I love them. First few months were the best amazing battery life amazing sound quality and amazing everything, but there not perfect. From the start a few things stood out the magnets for to hold the earbuds are weak at best. Sure if you have them upside down they won't fall but if you drop them or anything that has a lift force they will fly out and land everywhere. The loudness of the general earbuds aren't the best they are fine and good enough to block out any noise with the the passive noise cancelling the in ear design offers but still wish for that extra loudness. Now a few more good things, the rubber wing tips are amazing I dont understand why you would remove this feature from ... MoreI have had these earbuds for about the last 2 years and I can't express how much I love them. The battery life again it was amazing, after a few years, yeah they didn't last as long as they have in the past but it was still a respectable 6-8 hours. In conclusion these are the best earbuds I have ever had and it's a shame that I lost them the day in writing this. I hope the next generation have the improvement I have recommend keep up the good work akg and Samsun.

Why the Samsung Buds are Still Great After 2 Years

I bought theses Buds the day they came out and I have been amazed since then. These buds offer great sound in a compact design. They give a strong base and sound great on higher notes. The Samsung Galaxy Buds are also packed with features as well. The Galaxy Wearable app give you control over the Equalizer, witch can change the sound of your Buds to give a more dynamic or bass boosted sound and much more. With the Galaxy Wearable app you can also use a feature called "Find My Earbuds" witch play a chirping sound through the speaker and thus makes it easier to find them. This has saved me from losing my Buds more times than I can count. They also have seamless connection, and that make pairing them to my Samsung Z Flip a breeze.
