I bought this as an upgrade to my previous Samsung A3 and I am really very pleased. The screen is a good resolution for most people and it's bright as well. The combination of processor and RAM makes it fast and smooth to use and 64GB of storage + an SD card slot is more than enough for me. Combined with Samsung's policy of providing 3-4 years of operating system and security upgrades make it unbeatable at the price.I have only 2 minor quibbles and one suggestion. Firstly the USB C cable supplied is too short - I had to swap it straight away with my old one from the A3, I don't know what Samsung are thinking there - this is just an annoyance. Secondly the phone is quite big. I do like having a larger screen for typing and browsing the internet but I think it ... MoreI bought this as an upgrade to my previous Samsung A3 and I am really very pleased. The screen is a good resolution for most people and it's bright as well. I do like having a larger screen for typing and browsing the internet but I think it could have been just 1/2 inch (1.25cm) smaller to make it easier to fit in a pocket - this is a very small issue. The only thing missing for me is an IP rating for water and dust resistance. I do appreciate that Samsung can't provide everything for a budget price but personally I would have paid an extra £20 for an IP rating and been even happier. The phone still gets 5/5 overall from me because it represents real value for money in the current market.

A year after release, I paid well less than half the retail price for refurbished. I feel that's a bargain. It'll get quarterly software updates for 2 more years and security updates for another year past that. It released with Android 11 and just updated to 12. Samsung claims it will update to 13 next year. This phone is a low midrange in terms of features and hardware, so don't expect great anything, but I think everything is at least good. I don't play games, so I can't give a good review, but from what I've read it probably won't do that well. It's certainly faster than my 5 year old Moto g5. Camera photos are good. I'm a light user so the battery lasts at least 4 days for me, but should last a day for a heavy user. This phone does not do millimeter wave 5g. Other reviewers bash the "low" resolution screen, but it looks fine to me. (Not great in bright day light, reminding me it is a budget phone.) I'm getting older, so a super high resolution that displays small print/icons are wasted on my failing eyes anyway. Build quality is solid, even if mostly plastic. Feels heavy, probably is because of the big battery.

This phone feels about right -- nice screen, perfect size and decent camera. I've had S series and note series Samsung phones in the past but this time I wanted to give one of their A series a go and liked the clean lines of the A32. AMOLED is important and so too regular updates but equally important is smooth operation and this is the one area where I think Samsung cheaped out a bit. The G80 is by no means a bad chip but it would have only cost Samsung a few dollars more to have used a Dimensity SOC and this phone would have been almost perfect for the money. I am not devastated by the use of the G80 as it performs very well under most circumstances but with other manufactures using better silicon in cheaper phones I do wonder if this was a missed ... MoreThis phone feels about right -- nice screen, perfect size and decent camera. I bout the official Samsung S-View wallet case for it and it looks superb. There are some better value phones out there for the money but at the end of the day they are not Samsung and they certainly won't be receiving the updates Samsung is promising for this device. All in all I am happy.
I had a unique experience with Net 10 updating my cell number from a Samsung J3 Orbit to this cell phone. This phone is factory unlocked as advertised, however I didn't know that the carrier was on T-Mobile service prior unit I checked the IMEI number and found out. So the Sim Card needed a T-Mobile sim card that I bought for .99 online. Orginally Net 10 told me to use the Verizon sim card, which didn't work, so I tried the T-Mobile sim card and boom, it worked. So, I sent a message to the seller on Saturday and Monday morning I got a response. I called them and explained my problem in detail being that I thought that the phone was a dud. Nope, the phone is fine, just wrong set up information from Net 10 regarding Sim card carriers. Nope, the phone is fine, just wrong set up information from Net 10 regarding Sim card carriers. I did ask the seller to list the prior carrier so that the buyer can insert the proper sim card. Seller very easy guy talk to on the phone. Ok now for the phone condition. minor light wear on some of the edges, hard to see since the phone is black. I order the case with two screen protectors from Walmart.com @ $8.99 for this Samsung A32 5G and once on you can't see any minor imperfections. It works for me. Also, this phone is a gem, does it all for me, everything works, I bought Walmart's warranty for it for peace of mind. My old phone worked fine but I wanted an update to 5 G and this was the least expensive one I could fine on Walmart.com. Better prices here then elsewhere for me. So, that's my input, hope it helps your decision.
Same issues as everyone else - non-ending restart loops and eventual static screen. Reading about it, seems to be due to unsolicited app called Device Pulse - forced onto phone by ST/Tracfone. Cannot uninstall it, but someone suggested uninstalling update to app (via little 3 dots at top of app info page), disabling auto updates in Google Play, and denying permissions as much as possible to Device Pulse. Also, only seems to happen when wifi turned on, so after a hardstop restart, quickly turn off wifi and phone should work normally. Do the changes above, restart phone, and turn wifi back on if you need it - and phone should be fixed. I did this today after I thought my phone was cooked and all is working well (and back on wifi).Root of the problem, however, a ... MoreSame issues as everyone else - non-ending restart loops and eventual static screen. They snuck this app onto our phones during an update. This is the reason this phone has great reviews on verizon/t-mobile, etc, but horrible reviews on Straighttalk.
I got an A32 as an addition on my contract for my wife. From the very beginning, my wife had issues with the phone. It was notably slow in processing tasks. It also kept having Bluetooth connectivity issues - it would pair and then unpair from my wife's Garmin watch multiple times a day. In the end, it gave us an error message that phone was too hot to charge and then phone was too cold to charge, and just never charged again. I replaced the charging port, but this didn't resolve the issue. I would definitely not recommend this phone, not even if it's a cheap addition to a flagship phone, as it was in my case.

With the camera malfunction, I had to take a video on a second phone and play it back to read the massage end determine what the issue is.Now after 7 days of using the phone it suddenly decided to shut down and it's not turning back on, not even after trying all the suggested methods of getting it back to life.
Pros: The phone is easy to use & navigate and has a lot more ringtones, alert tones etc to choose from, which is an improvement on previous models. The camera is much clearer than previous models too!Cons: Unfortunately I have a spinal cord injury & suffer from frequent muscle spasms. With this in mind, I purchased a decent case. The disappointment I have experienced 3 wks after purchasing the phone on contact is that I had a muscle spasm & fell with my phone in my hand, the phone was in a protective case and just touched the floor & the screen screen cracked. I am now having to look to have the screen replaced. I'm hugely disappointed my the fact that the slightest contact has cracked the screen. I doubt I will replace it with another Samsung at the end of my contract.
As a long time Samsung mobile user, I have very disappointed with this once. The fingerprint scanner is next to useless for starters which makes answering calls a pain let alone accessing the phone for anything else. The camera is unimpressive and I don't get the same quality of pics I was getting on my Note 5+ or my S8+ even those models are so old. I didslike that when I try to MOVE pictures from the Gallery into a folder, they remain in the Gallery and the folder. I was given support on a work around but that didn't work at all so appears to be a defect. I used the supplied weather app widget to load up a couple of different world wide locations to get time and weather but on the old phones, I was able to carousel the view between those locations via the widget ... MoreAs a long time Samsung mobile user, I have very disappointed with this once. Grrrrrrrr... I don't get any light flash notifications to indicate I have messages waiting. All in all, a very disappointing phone - it does the basics but that's all. I will be changing to another brand going forward.
