Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A23 meets all but one of the expectations that one would have purchasing the phone for it's price point. Unfortunately the camera does not meet the expectations and I cannot recommend this phone for that one major reason. I noticed 1 or 2 changes in my time using the app and happy to say that you are able to use the max resolution in Pro Mode now. The screen is also a minor issue, an AMOLED display would have been preferable to a TFT display. For a phone at this price point you would have expected a fairly decent camera, which you get, just not the software to go with it. The sensor has been tested to go beyond what you would ordinarily need to. The camera is capable of taking stunning pictures, it just lacks the means to.

I've had a few phones in this sort of price range and this is by far the best. I admit it, I was dubious. I had read reviews but like this one those ae just words on the internet and you can always trust the internet. But I went for it anyway. This is an amazing phone. Everything from 50mp camera down to the sound quality of its player., not to mention the clarity of videos on the screen, This middle aged lady is a but scared of new tech this is the best thing I will be claiming in next years tax Deductions. Its very intuitive to use and easy to navigate and loaded with apps. The battery life last for days even with facebook and instagraming. The only downside so far is it attracts fingerprints like crazy but I good case with fix that. Thank you Good Guys

First, the ad is false and deceptive. This phone is not supported by the AT&T network and the dual SIM is a functionality problem in the United States. In other countries, it is not an issue. While living in the U.S., it is best to steer clear of dual SIM phones. I didn't know this prior to purchasing this phone. Secondly, if your cell phone carrier is AT&T, check their website to see if this phone is supported on their network. IT IS NOT! Contrary to what is published in the advertisement, this phone does not work on ANY AT&T networks. Check it out for yourself. I went through all of the trouble of Smart Switching information from my old phone to this phone, then went to the AT&T store to have the SIM card removed from the old phone into the A23. This is when disaster struck. It is a pain and a huge annoyance to remove everything from this phone in order to return it and wait another week for a different phone. If the second phone doesn't work with AT&T, I an going to ask my bank to reverse the charge for the phone since a refund is not allowed. No refund, even for false and deceptive advertising by the seller. In who's world? Not mine. I will get my money back in addition to filing a complaint with the attorney general in my state.
I bought this phone 3 weeks ago, overall performance and features are excellent but I am facing an irritating problem with this phone which is related to adaptive brightness. At night when we select the adaptive brightness option the screen brightness continuously shifting to low and comparatively higher brightness levels in very short intervals even in a constant light environment. Hence its adaptive brightness feature not only become useless but also it is extremely irritating. I don't know that this problem is with all these models or with only my handset. Although it's cheap, the Samsung A23 has seriously blown my expectations in almost every way. Pleasantly surprised with the battery life, nice high quality display and fast speed of the phone. Camera is also amazing and is good in every situation especially nature and portraits. The battery has enough juice to usually get me through two days before charging with pretty decent screen time and it charges very fast with 25w fast charging. Probably my only gripe with this phone is its lack of NFC but for the price and amazing other features you can't complain. Overall great value for money and will definitely be buying another A series phone in the future.

I acknowledge that my research before purchasing the phone was very basic, but it wasn't in my thinking to check that the phone has NFC. Given that my previous phone, purchased 3.5yrs ago, has NFC, I have wrongly come to expect that it is standard technology that even cheaper phones feature. This issue aside, I really like the phone and it's great value. I just need to remember to take my wallet with me!

The storage is a large size, which is very helpful. I like the method for laying out icons and putting them into folders, and the built-in app drawer. The sound is high quality through the phone speakers. I like the built-in Samsung Music program too. The phone also comes with an adjustable Eye Comfort feature to filter out blue light, which is very helpful. I bought this phone a week ago and I don't like using it. It has great battery life and the camera is good but that's about all I like about it. The camera is very slow and sometimes when you turn it to landscape the screen goes completely blank. I was really disappointed to find out it didn't have NFC either. I know it's a fairly low budget model but even the cheaper Nokia and Motorola had this feature. I don't like the way the menu's work either. Scrolling up and to the side makes little sense to me. The last phone I had was the A70 which just died, and wouldn't charge at all even after all the fixes I tried to apply so had no choice but to get another phone but this was a really disappointing Samsung purchase.
