I’ve never posted a negative review in my life and if this one gets published I will be very happy. A few weeks ago I purchased the Samsonite Oc2lite 81cm suitcase online. I received an email informing me that my order had been processed and that my suitcase was being sent from Sydney. After about 10 days I received the suitcase. Delivered by AUSPOST, beautiful wrapped in its dust cover and packed in a sturdy, MYER cardboard box. As soon as I took it out of the box and removed its cover, I noticed scuff marks. Okay, not a big deal, but then, to my horror, I noticed that the stitching at the bottom of the suitcase had come undone! I was sent a damaged suitcase from the Sydney Myer store! I’ve since contacted customer service and all I got was an apology.I was highly inconvenienced having to return the damaged suitcase and then forced to purchase another suitcase at a different store.I rarely buy things online and this experience has cemented my belief that nothing beats in store shopping.

High quality case from a respected brand. Practical size that can just fit in overhead compartments on international planes. Zips sturdy. Second zip to allow case to expand is useful. Rolls very easily. Decent internal zipped pocket / compartments. Have not bought many suitcases in my life, but can’t see how you could beat this one. Bought 2 on sale, one for me and partner. Recommended if the price is right.

This is the best suitcase I have ever owned. I learned my lesson recently when disembarking from a cruise ship and all my clothes fell out on the ground. The zippers on my suitcase had come apart and when I rolled the case to commence walking everything fell out. The roller on the bottom was also broken which meant I couldn't roll it either. Enter Myer specials on Samsonite luggage. I purchased the Oc2lite 81cm Spinner suitcase from Samsonite. Won't have anymore problems with zippers and wheels. I'm off to Fiji soon. I can't wait to try out my new wheels.

The 75cm OC2LITE Spinner didn't disappoint!It handled some pretty rough times in Africa, including being dragged over rocky dirt tracks, but the wheels held up well and still glided beautifully at the airport.What I love...- Lightweight- Super tough- Sturdy wheels- Compartments/pockets- Heavy duty zippers- Easy-to-use lock- Size (With packing cubes, I fit everything in snugly weighing in at 23kg. While the larger case would fit more, it would've tipped me over my baggage weight limit. I bought my first Samsonite Oc2lite 55cm suitcase 7 yrs ago for a short trip overseas. The suitcase still looks like new even after a lot of overseas travels. The Samsonite Oc2lite hard side spinner has prompted me to continue purchasing more Oc2lite 81cm suitcases whenever the need arises and they have never disappointed me. I now have 4 Samsonite Oc2lite Hardside spinner suitcases which are all fully packed and ready for my next overseas holiday end of year travels. They can carry a lot of heavy items without zips ripping off and wheels breaking. They are light yet durable and also look great.
My second purchase of Samsonite luggage, had no hesitation in repurchasing this brandas my first set lasted over 20yrs!! The only reason i bought new is because the modern version is slightly lighter & easier to manoeuvre.Great size, plenty of room for a long weekend and expands for those extra purchases! The dark blue colour looks good,Wheels run smoothly and the handle is strong and adjusts to different lengths.I used this as hand luggage to travel around the world and it still works like new & looks good.Like the zipped area inside to keep clothes separate & clean & can be removed & washed.Zip & lock strong & sturdy.

The staff was helpful and ordered it on the ipad for my with free delivery, Unfortunately the limited bright colours were sold out so I opted for the navy instead. I bought x2 cases.
