I purchased this - my third Samsonite bag- online. I was amazed that it only took 2 working days to arrive. I had already purchased the larger suitcase in this range but decided and smaller one would also be useful. Love the design and double zips- which allows a for slightly larger capacity when shopping overseas .

I bought this suitcase just a day before I left for my holiday on Sept 21. I needed a large suitcase and this one ticked all my boxes. Until I had to close it and leave for the airport. It took me a lot of time to work out how to zip it. The issue arises from the zip being right in the middle which meant that, as this is a large suitcase there will be more luggage inside it, that one side of the suitcase will disjoint and misalign the other and therefore it was extremely difficult to alight the zips together. This occurs because of having something heavier in one part which pulls it down and makes the zipping a real battle. This makes me extremely unhappy with the suitcase which is currently for repair with JL as one of the zips broke. I have the 55 cm cabin suitcase that is with a hard-shell, and it is an amazing suitcase. I would like to return this suitcase as I am seriously unsatisfied with it.Otherwise, the suitcase slides with ease along the airport and has a good capacity to hold as much stuff as you need.I wrote a review in Sept whilst away, but it never appeared online. I could not return the suitcase as planned, as I had to extend my stay for two months. Sadly, upon returning to the UK, I had a great deal of health matters to solve and was unable to speak with JL.Very disappointed and frustrated with this item.
I bought this case because it’s measurements were correct for carryon luggage with United Airlines. I also consider Samsonite to be a top brand. I have taken it for a trial run domestically and it was generally most satisfactory. My main complaint would be that the zips do not run as smoothly as I would like. I had to open the case for security at the airport and opening took time. Also the interior zip (for expanding the case) got caught up with the outer zip. So don’t be in a hurry when opening and closing the Hi Fi spinner.
Great Powerful Red Colour 4 wheel suitcase, though I might have my regrets about the colour ! unfortunately holiday was postponed so haven't had chance to use the case yet. It will be ideal for those 6 day trips. It's light enough to store in the cupboard above the wardrobe or under the stairs.I like the different sections within he "lid" of the case.Just remember your 3 numbered combination lock - why 3 ? 4 would be more helpful like your iphone.I hope the wheels don't get knocked off & it gets scratched in the hold if I take it on easyJet on it's first outing.
I received this complimentary 28" sky blue by meeting a spending criteria. Nice colour, looks stylish and a branded product but it doesn't live up to its name. How can an expandable area be slanted? Where is the basic luggage cover that it came with Black/Red Label model? It's definitely not worth the price had it not been given free.
Great hard shell bag. Withheld travelling on a flight/ transfers along with being transported via boat. Storage compartment is large and allows for clothes and personal items to be packed and transported without moving. Lock system is secure and easy to use. After a few trips the bag is in perfect condition and has many more holidays left
Top quality all the way, I went with the intention of buying a cheapish suitcase, definitely not to spend over £100, but then I wheeled this Samsonite one around the store and was smitten!We have used it once so far and found it to be extremely easy to manoeuvre and very lightweight. It looks attractive too (light duck egg colour) and has plenty of storage room for both of us for a weeks holidayThe only downside is that after one trip abroad, it has scuffed and shows dirty marks from the carousel/aeroplane trip. It has a 10 year guarantee which is good to know and reassures that it is a quality item. As my husband said, if the kids are arguing over who inherits the Samsonite suitcase, then it's worth investing in a quality item :)
We bought this for my daughter’s birthday. It then made travelling a breeze through Korea, the UK and Portugal.,my daughter barely had to steer or guide it. I begged for a ‘turn’ as my own suitcase doesn’t behave and is extremely difficult to manoeuvre. She drives like a dream and I’m very jealous.
