This was an amazing fit. The wrap over the foot helps to lock your foot and place and add stability. The fit was wider in the toe box and snug through the arch, which was perfect for me.

Very comfortable for hiking but the lugs on the sole suffer on steep granite. They separate partially from the main body of the sole. One lug tore off completely on its first use! I expected better from a more expensive shoe. I will stick to my trusty Merrell FST for more serious ground.Basically, great for general hiking with awesome grip but not durable enough for an approach shoe (walk in to a rock climbing site while carrying a pack). Nice ankle support without being instrusive and heavy. Light and comfortable.

I bought these on Friday, hiked a hilly/rocky 3.4mi on Saturday. My feet felt stabilized, but not restricted. I'm recouping medial/lateral/posterior tendon issues in one foot and it doesn't even hurt after wearing these! Very happy with my purchase.

I really like these boots. They fit well, look good, and are very comfortable. My only grumble is that the laces are very slippery and it's hard to get them to stay tied tightly!

These boots are fantastic. It is my 3rd pair in this make and style as they are incredibly comfort with great grip and good quality.Hence I keep coming back year after year to solomans and I hike 2 to 3 times a week it get alot of use from them. I highly recommend
Amazing hiking boots!! So comfortable to wear, even from the first try and didn’t need to be broken in. The high sides really support the ankle. Water resistance seems to be working well but hasn’t yet had to be fully tested. Also love the look of them. Have taken them on 3 hikes so far and super pleased.
