It is a good product and it fits perfectly in my Salomon Pulse Belt. It is small, compact, I like the rounded corners of the plastic / mouth piece / tightening (screw cap) for many reasons. I like that it smooth for my hands (touch), my mouth, especially while running and for my belt & shorts while putting into and taking out of each (belt & shorts).I live in sunny Southern California, and during the summers I get hot when I do runs and SwimRuns, so when I am on a SwimRun and I take my Soft Flask I can carry it in my hand or just throw it into my shorts when I am swimming. I use them for running and hiking. I have not had any problems with them leaking as I have know is common with other soft flask. I use them with a Salomon running pack with came with 2 soft flask. They work.
I bought two of these bottles and a Salomon pack. I like the size and ease to drink from when running. The collapsable bag is nice, liquid doesn't slosh when you run.Only problem after a few months one sprang a leak on the seam. I will hold my recommendation until I see if the product is replaced.
flask is good but the screw top is a bit fiddly to attach and it is very solid around the top and so can feel uncomfortable next to the skin.
My figgest complaint about my older Salomon packs is the extremely tiny opening to fill the bottles up. It makes refilling bottles during races nearly impossible, especially if you need to add some electrolyte powders. The new Soft Flask Speed has a larger opening and the firmer plastic bottom makes filling and getting the flasks back into the hydration packs way easier. I have bought 4 additional bottles so I can have them waiting at aid stations. The close cap is perfect to prevent leaking when in a drop bag as well.
I bought these flasks three months ago. They are practical, light and simple. I prefer soft flasks because they don't hurt my ribs when I run for long distances. I like the harder plastic on the top. Great improvement from previous versions.
Carries so easy in a belt or waist band pocket. My preferred size soft flask (or two) to carry on shorter to medium runs.
This flask fits into the front pocket of the Agile 500 Belt for extra fluid. Even better it fits into the waist pocket of my S-Lab Sense shorts or stuff it in the waist band of other shorts which is great for those days I don't to wear a vest or belt.
