Immediately comfortable and easy to walk in. As light as a pair of trainers. Waterproofing generally good, judging from first couple of weeks. Fits true to size, same size as I wear for trainers and formal shoes.

I bought these shoes to wear for when I walk my families and friends dogs at our local Country park which can be a little wet underfoot at times and they certainly keep my feet dry. I'm normally a size 9 but with Salomom I always buy 9.5, euro 44

Have come to depend on Solomon for my hiking boots. This latest one is really lightweight and with the usual comfort from the start and high quality to handle the wet and rough terrain of the Irish mountains.

I was so disappointed to have to return these. The boots look very smart and durable, and they are aslo waterproof. Just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, although they were the correct length for my feet, they were too narrow at the toes.
Been very unhappy with boots over the years but these seem to be the solution! Not for them soaking wet as such but early use is very encouraging
The wide selection of models and colors in your store pleasantly surprises.
I prefer salomon x ultra 3 mid gtx over x ultra 4 mid gtx, and the salomon x ultra pioneer mid gtx are almost the same as version 3. They fit my foot great, i'm glad i got them.
