This collar is perfect for my dog who loves to roll on asphalt and concrete. Her collars wind up dirty and worn so a rugged, lightweight collar is a neccessity. I got the sage green collar which is nice contrast with my brindle pup. I also like the ID tag attachment and silicone tag silencer.

I recently purchased this collar for my (new) second pup and love it. It's lightweight but sturdy and durable. The clip for additional dog tags is great, the hook for the leash along with the clasp are both very strong. This is a great collar for everyday wear, and when wearing the collar plus a harness our dog does not seem to be bothered. I love it so much I'll be purchasing another one for my other dog!

Surprisingly sturdy for being so lightweight. I tried this one for my puppy who doesnât like to wear a harness because of its weight. He doesnât turn into a stiff board when this one goes on. He loves to run and jump. I expect the same quality as the front range harness that I have for my other dog, which held up great for 3 years and was only changed out for a new color. The collar is great for this little guy also. Thanks, Ruffwear.

Very lightweight, but the material rips hair from our doggo's neck. Unfortunately we didnt realize it until he developed bald patches. We definitely don't have it sized too tightly, and we haven't experienced that with any other collar. I suspect it has something to do with the weave and maybe even edges of the collar. It is otherwise well made and sized and pretty. Unfortunately we won't be able to continue using it for our Labrador Retriever.
This is my 2nd time buying Hi & Light products for my Samson đŸ.I discovered Ruffwear in 2022, I really like the Hi & Light product line, easy to carry, Samson seems comfortable wearing his color and harness and they are extremely durable., wash up nice too in the washer.Color choices are FUN!I keep Samsonâs rabies ID # and his personal ID, both metal on his collar, the piece that comes with the collar that keeps the two pieces of ID from clanking is brilliant.
We had a cheap leash from the pet store that started fraying too fast for our herding dog. This collar is not only super durable, but itâs cute as hell. Our pup gets complimented all the time on it. Plus, the dog tag feature to help reduce noise has been very helpful around the house.
Iâm very happy with this collar. Itâs super light weight and this makes it great for summer especially. I love all of the RuffWear collar details like the separate attachment for tag and leash. Itâs really easy to clip on the leash to these collars. My dog looks pretty in the salmon pink collar!
Brilliant collar: sturdy and well-made. I particularly like the big, strong clasp where the lead is attached: it's easy to grip and makes putting the lead on easier than with other collars.The Alpenglow Pink looks lovely on our black lab, and has been much admired!
I have no idea what it would be like to wear a collar all day long. Every day. But if I had to, I'd want it to fade into the background. Not always be aware of it. I know dogs probably don't think like this. And my shepard/pitbull mix would rather play tug with it anyway. But we all have our burden to bear. Might as well look good doing it.
My dog loves it! And she loves the Hi & Light harness and leash as well. It is a perfect set for her! My dog is a 10.5 mini schnauzer in NYC and she is taking the streets by storm in her new Ruffwear gear. As a new dog owner, I've been doing a lot of trial and error with harnesses/leashes etc and Ruffwear is hands down the winner!
