Royal Selangor DC - Limited Edition Batman The Dark Knight Returns

A limited edition of 200 individually numbered pieces worldwide. Set to engage his former ally Superman in a bruising fight, Batmans armoured suit and array of weapons may be the only hope he has of surviving the encounter. In illustrator Alan Quah and sculptor Mufizal Mokhtars superb 3D take on Frank Millers distinctive drawings, 24K gilding accentuates the limited editions details. Like freeze frames, cells from the comic book provide a contextual backdrop. In pewter and composite resin. Acclaimed as one of the most influential stories ever told in comics, writer, artist and film director Frank Millers The Dark Knight Returns, a dystopian reinvention of legend presented in his idiosyncratic style, is a critical and commercial success, and considered a landmark publication. Malaysians Quah and Mufizal, both highly respected by the international comics and collectibles communities, collaborated on this limited edition.
