A Fall shirt pattern that can be dressed up or down. From denim to cords, khakis to wool gabardine, with or without a sport coat, you can’t go wrong with this shirt. The cotton fabric used has a very luxurious hand to it, making it silky smooth. When fitted properly, ie, sizing up, it has an excellent silhouette to it. I don’t machine dry it either. Neither should you. My only gripe is I wish they used MOP buttons. And same goes for this shirt in sage green, which I also picked up.

I love the sports cut of this shirt! There is plenty of room to feel comfortable around the chest and arms but the waist is tailored in nicely. Looks and feels fabulous.

Recently purchased a Gunn Check Oxford long-sleeve shirt and it's fantastic. Excellent fabric quality, feels great to wear all day. Versatile for both casual and formal settings, it pairs well with jeans or formal trousers. Washes well, maintaining its shape and colour. Stylish, comfortable, and superbly crafted. Definitely a wardrobe essential. Highly recommend!
This shirt is absolutely lovely, my partner is really pleased with it. However I am appalled at the condition it was in on arrival. You don't expect to pay this amount of money for an item and it arrive with no buttons done up, no attempt at folding it. It was quite literally balled up in a plastic bag that wasn't sealed. To me it looked like a returned item that was sent back out to us. I expect better standards from John Lewis.
Good fit especially arm length. 2XL available in store would like to have tried 1XL. Product in sale but hopefully that does not mean end of stocking the Rodd & Gunn make.
