I've been using the robot for 2 weeks before I left this review. I'm really impressed with its suction power and mapping capabilities. Some robots may need several hours to get a map done. But for the Q7max, mapping is quite efficient. You can start quirck mapping, which creates a map for my 1000 sq ft house in just a few minutes! The map, even quickly created, is very precise and can even be fleshed up in further rounds of cleanings. Amazing! The robot's water tank and dustbin are desinged in one combo. I found that's a pretty smart design. It allows more room for both containers and every time you empty the dustbin, you'll be reminded of filling up the water tank. So you don't have to do it seperately. The brush roller is rubberized and doesn't have any bristles. ... MoreI've been using the robot for 2 weeks before I left this review. The mopping performance is pretty good. I have tile floor and it scrubs away the dirt effectively and doesn't leave much streaks behind. It's fairly to say roborock has made many innovative ideas come true and this Q7max is a real game changer!

This robot vacuum is SO GOOD! We adore this new addition to our house. No go lines and no mop zones are trustworthy and simple to set up, and the mapping is excellent. I haven't had any program glitches. Excellent suction removes all debris from my floors. We frequently use the mop and are quite pleased with how well it cleans our laminate floors. You will initially experience streaks. The unclean flooring are to blame for this. The streaks will get thinner with continued use.Comparatively speaking, this is much quieter than our old iLife robot vacuum. While viewing TV in the same room, we can use the standard strength suction setting. The self-emptying filter will empty the dust after each use, and the bin is large enough for our home. Arrived quickly and works better than I could have hoped. Incredibly powerful robot vacuum with really handy mapping options, including multiple floor support and ability to label and define rooms, and you can send it where you want it through an app on your phone. The improved suction is noticeable but quiet. It gets under beds and under tables and transitions from hardwood floor to carpet to tile without any problems, and it’s picking up animal hair nicely. You can choose the suction power and mopping intensity in the app, and it detects when it's on carpet so it will only vacuum. Maintenance is very easy, although I recommend buying extra mops and filters if you use it every day. Everything is as what was expected, it has now become essential in our home. There are various cleaning products in market. I still think robotic vacuum is better than others. Roborock seems the best one focus on cleaning. I do not care much about mopping, as I think current technology of robotic vacuum can not make a very helpful mopping feature, as good as human beings. The vacuum power of this model Q7Max is strong enough. It could collect all debris. What’s more important, the sound of vacuum is not noisy. I can not say it is quiet. But comparing to my Shark, it is less noisy. The design of app seems making it more efficient. The features on app helps me create different kind of cleaning methods. If the robot is 90 score, the app is almost 100. Anyway, when you need a clean room but don’t want to spend much time and energy on cleaning, ... MoreThere are various cleaning products in market. It's my first robotic vacuum and definitely the best investment in the year! I received the vacuum with 80% battery and started to program it after fully charged.I called customer support as I’m not good at pairing smart appliance. A gentleman answered by call in seconds and answered all my questions patiently. Good customer service determines If I will buy another one and now the answer is positive.I moved all cables and toys from the floor and it mapped my house accurately in one run! There is one room not included as the door were not open, I believe it can be added afterwards. The suction power of the unit is strong and that is why I pick up this one. My dog sheds a lot especially when the summer comes, but I no longer worry about cleaning the floor since I ... MoreIt's my first robotic vacuum and definitely the best investment in the year! This is my first Roborock robot, I read many reviews on the internet and decide to purchase this one as its price and features.1. With an incredible maximum suction power of 4200Pa, it does a good job overall to keep your floors free of dust.2. The mapping so far is being working ok, and I have a multilevel home, but with the laser eye. The robot doesn’t fall into the lowest level. I really like that too.3. Upgraded Brush System: An all-rubber brush strongly resists hair tangles making ideal for tackling long hair and pet hair.4. The Auto-Empty Dock Pure empties the robot automatically after cleanup, so we don’t have to do it manually or frequently. With its 2.5L dust bag it stores up to seven weeks of debris. It has vacuum mop, and auto-empty feature, but the ... MoreThis is my first Roborock robot, I read many reviews on the internet and decide to purchase this one as its price and features.1. I will start my review about the good stuff for Roborock Q7 Max+.-The mapping function is spot on and generates a very accurate map of the areas. I have a 2 storey house and it created an accurate map of the entire house. If you have large mirrors touching the floors (I have mirrors on my sliding doors for my bedroom robes) beware the machine sees the reflection and thinks the room extends behind the mirrors, but thats how lidar works and its not a design fault of the machine. The quick fix for this issue is to put 6" duct tape strip on the bottom of the mirrors. Once the floors are mapped the machine's navigation is excellent.-The auto empty / charging station does an excellent job of emptying the machine once the robo completes the cleaning.-The robo does a ... MoreI will start my review about the good stuff for Roborock Q7 Max+.-The mapping function is spot on and generates a very accurate map of the areas. Once the floors are mapped the machine's navigation is excellent.-The auto empty / charging station does an excellent job of emptying the machine once the robo completes the cleaning.-The robo does a very good job of vacuuming on hard floors and all small debris and pet hair is picked up. Hair longer than 6" do get tangled in main brush or side brush, but thats expected with any vacuum. Now for the features which are not so good.-The main brush although it is claimed to be an improvement over the previous models is not very good on carpets, there is a lot of pet hair left on carpets even after 3 passes at max suction. So pet owners with carpet floor, this machine is not for you.-The mopping function is pretty much a joke and is best avoided. I have used the mopping function just once after closing doors to my carpeted areas as I didn't want any accidents. And to be honest was disappointed with the results.-The software can be improved a bit to easily select the floor map, right now its a 3-4 step process to swith between floor maps.Overall feedback-A decent robo vacuum I would say since I haven't had any robo vacuums before.-I would recommend this if they improve the brush design for picking up pet hair from carpet.-The over all vacuum could have been cheaper if you take away the mopping function which is not good anyways.
We absolutely LOOOOOOVE our Roborock Q7 Max Robotic Vacuum and Mop Cleaner!! It saves us soooo much time and allows us to do other things while our house is being cleaned. It's fascinating to watch too, how it methodically cleans each room. It's amazing how it vacuums and mops at the same time, there's minimal water used so it's dry to walk on quite quickly if needed and it's perfect for our wooden floors. It does a great job of mopping any dirt stains. It's also brilliant at vacuuming rugs, it just automatically changes itself to a higher level when it goes over the rugs on the floor. Love the way it talks to us, letting us know what is happening at the beginning and end and once it's finished cleaning it finds its way home to the dock. All absolutely AMAAAAZING!! ... MoreWe absolutely LOOOOOOVE our Roborock Q7 Max Robotic Vacuum and Mop Cleaner!! My daughter also has this model, she and her partner did a lot of research to work out which brand and model was the best for efficiency and price and this is it! We have certainly found it to be awesome!! You don't need the ones with a bin at the docking station, they're bigger and take up more space, it's very easy to empty the compartment where the dirt has gathered (you don't need to do it every time, although we do to keep it clean). We definitely highly recommend this one!!
Bought this about a month ago and it goes everyday. It has made life so much easier. We have 2 large dogs (StBernards) and it sucks up their hair with no problem. It manages to get around furniture easily. We have a multi level home and it is easy to take to another level and start without moving the whole docking station. Occasionally (once a week) I go round with a cordless vac and suck up bits under the table or in corners that have been missed, although it generally vacuums everything,. I have hard vinyl wood plank floors and it does a great job keeping them clean. I found the Roborock app would not work and had to install mihome one instead which works very well and is easy to use for someone who’s not that tech savvy! I haven’t used the mopping function yet ... MoreBought this about a month ago and it goes everyday. It has made life so much easier. I have hard vinyl wood plank floors and it does a great job keeping them clean. I found the Roborock app would not work and had to install mihome one instead which works very well and is easy to use for someone who’s not that tech savvy! I haven’t used the mopping function yet because I haven’t been able to find the recommended cleaning solution so can’t comment on how well it mops. Occasionally it doesn’t completely empty but that tends to be when it’s completely full and it is easy to empty manually. With 2 big dogs I find the bag is getting full after about 3 weeks but hadn’t expected it to last that long! The bag was easy to empty and put back in. I have now ordered replacement bags. This is my first robot vacuum as I thought one wouldn’t cope with dog hair and teenage boys who leave things lying around. I researched and this had better suction than most plus a large capacity in the empty station plus I was more concerned with vacuuming ability than mopping as I have a cordless vacuum mop which is easy to use. I’m so very happy with this and the teenagers even pick their things up now so they don’t interrupt the vacuum! I would definitely recommend this robot vacuum and it is a pleasure coming home to a clean house and not having to immediately vacuum everyday after work.
Seriously, the reviews warning about “no sonic mopping”, do your research BEFORE buying and not expect miracles. This product never advertized the sonic moping or auto lift. My friend who has the s7 maxv ultra still does separate mopping and vacuuming because it simply makes things easier and makes sense. Aaaaanyway…. This is an amazing vacuum AND mop. The suction power is insane, this thing will pick up absolutely everything. Even without the sonic mopping, it is SO easy to mark the no mop zones in the app, and then all is done eith a click. Im super satisfied with this product. Could have something to do with doing research on what I need/want and not expecting miracles.
