Rimmel Wonder'Volume Thrill Seeker Mascara Extreme Black

The Rimmel Thrill Seeker Mascara comes in a very pretty red mascara case, is lightweight on pickup and thin enough to fit into a handbag. The wand brush has soft fluffy bristles with a wavy tapering effect and no scent to the product. The wand was also effortless to work with, I personally have never used a tapering wand before but I was absolutely in love with how uncomplicated it was! The mascara was easy to apply and glided smoothly with no smudges or mess. After the first coating on one of my lashes I did a side by side comparison and I could immediately see the difference between both the lashes. My lashes with the mascara applied were slightly bolder, slightly voluminous and the curl and separation were subtle. I applied a few more coatings onto my lashes to get the desired false lash effect look that I wanted and overall there was no clumping. The mascara didn’t dry too quick which made the reapplication of the product on my lashes a cleaner and easier process. The mascara lasted the whole day and night (when I went out) without smudging and flaking. I was able to wash the mascara off easily with a face cleanser and wipe the remaining product off with misceller water. What impressed me the most was the fact that I genuinely enjoyed using this mascara every day without the stress of me getting it everywhere and how effortless it was. I recommend that you try it.

The volume is the characteristic that I most look for in mascaras, I also like that they lengthen but since my eyelashes are already long of themselves with which they give me volume it is more than enough. The wand distributes the perfect amount, and although I was skeptical about the shape of the wand, it actually applies very well. It's not as awkward as I anticipated. My lashes are fragile so it's important to me for mascara to come off easily and this comes off with very little effort. I can see how that wouldn't work for everyone but in my case it's a perk. This mascara was amazing! The hourglass shape of the brush was different to what I have used before, it took to the creamy light weight liquid easily and didn’t clump on the brush. When applying it worked well to get to the smaller lashes close to the edge and the corners of my eyes. I needed a few applications on the top and bottom lashes to build the intensity of colour and length of lashes I desired. It gave my lashes a real lift and curl, it added volume and intense black colour without feeling heavy or clumpy. It made my eyes look defined, bolder and fuller.
