I love this powder-it's really pretty amazing! I had bought the Matte+Poreless a few times, but my skin has been less oily, and I wanted to try something different. This really leaves a beautiful finish on my skin. It helps make my makeup look more flawless and poreless. Very smooth. It's hard to make this look powdery, I really have to pack it on for it to not look good. It sets my makeup really well, and is great for touch-ups, too. It has some coverage, so that's nice. I can even use just this with some concealer under my eyes for days that I want to go really light with makeup, or run out quick and not feel like doing a full face. I think the color range is decent, but I don't think they have as many shades in this as the matte. (I could be wrong there.) It's ... MoreI love this powder-it's really pretty amazing! I own this concealer in the shades Beige and Medium. These Concealers can be used anywhere on the face, even on the eyelids. They come in a small pot, but because the concealer is highly concentrated, a little truly does go a long way. So, one small jar really does last a super long time. These Concealers do provide me with medium-to-full coverage. Now, I set them well with powder, so I don't get any major creasing with them at all. A really good oil control powder will allow for these concealers to stay in place all day. Because not all powders are alike, some powders used to set these concealers with, aren't going to be the most compatible, and yes, you may get creasing, caking, and smearing. These concealers are not 100% crease free. So, please don't go by such ... MoreI own this concealer in the shades Beige and Medium. Because, to me, it goes on just like MAC's StudioFinish concealer, which goes on creamy and stays that way, until you set it real good with a mattifying type of powder. The only slight con to these concealers is that the way that the color looks in the pot, is not 100% true to how it looks on the face. Which is why, in stores or even online, you have to play this type of guessing game, when it comes to picking out shades, whether it's to use for highlighting, contouring, bronzing, or even just matching your natural skin tone.

Okay, so I tried this out as a last resort, because up until now it has been IMPOSSIBLE for me to find my perfect foundation and I've always loved Nyx products (cruelty-free is important to me, and I've loved them since I first tried their lipsticks). As an extremely pale girl with neutral undertones, everything oxidizes on me and looks wayyyy too yellow or orange, or is too oily, or clings to dry spots on my combination skin. Not only did I find my perfect colour match in "porcelain" but the texture was incredible! So soft, velvety and blend-able I couldn't believe it! And for such a good price too? I bought it immediately and never looked back. I'd say I wear it about 5 days a week, for the past 4 months or so, and I still have a bit more than half the bottle left ... MoreOkay, so I tried this out as a last resort, because up until now it has been IMPOSSIBLE for me to find my perfect foundation and I've always loved Nyx products (cruelty-free is important to me, and I've loved them since I first tried their lipsticks). I'd say I wear it about 5 days a week, for the past 4 months or so, and I still have a bit more than half the bottle left so a little bit does really go a long way, especially if you want medium coverage. I also use a concealer under it to avoid having to use too much to cover up blemishes, but it does a fantastic job even sans-concealer. Also, since my combination skin can get a bit oily around my T-zone, but dry on my chin and cheeks, I lightly dust on my Gosh HD finishing powder only on my forehead and nose and I find that works like a charm to keep my fussy skin happy and glowing all day long! Would definitely also recommend using with the Nyx matte finishing spray to really kick it up to the next level for hot summer days to keep from sweating it off. Overall, I couldn't be more in love with this. If you've been searching forever for the perfect foundation for your difficult skin, I highly recommend trying this. My skin is also quite sensitive and this hasn't caused any breakouts, redness, or flaking like I tend to get from wearing other foundations for longer than a few hours. Will definitely be buying again, this is now my go-to, Holy Grail product!

The concealer comes in an array of colors, ranging from light flesh toned colors to dark colors, and lavender, yellow, orange and green for particular problem areas as correctors. The consistency is not as creamy as the Mac duo one, but its decent creamy and will provide medium to full coverage. I was never much of a concealer person as I previously did not have too dark circles, but this just completely changed my mind. You start by applying orange with a concealer brush (or even a small flat eyeshadow brush might do the trick). The orange by itself might work for many of you, as it camouflages the green under our Indian skin tone. After that if you need it, you can pat the yellow concealers lightly and blend it to match your skin tone. After that if you need it, you can pat the yellow concealers lightly and blend it to match your skin tone. I think after just 2-3 tries, anyone can figure out the right amount of each concealer to use. Otherwise another method would be to take an empty container and mix the two colors to achieve your perfect shade and keep it for daily use Pros of NYX Concealer in a Jar -Easy to achieve your perfect shade. -Good quantity, will probably last a year. -Good price. -The formula is creamy but not very runny nor very hard. -Can be used all year around, even if your skin tone changes. Cons of NYX Concealer in a Jar -Needs a good brush. -Need moisturizer before applying under the circles for perfect coverage. -Does not have a wand( which is good for me since I actually find the wand unhygienic at times, since it can’t be washed after use). Conclusion I liked the concealers and it lives up to its good report. I can finally stop looking for the perfect concealer color. It can also be used to darken areas if you have light pigmentation on your skin. It all depends on the ratio of each color you use. I find it more hygienic than the wand since the wand tends to pick up color when you try to layer it on another color. For those who don’t own the duo concealer and want to experiment they can give this a try.

I purchased this concealer in the shades Beige and Medium. The shade range honestly isn't the best, but it is workable for me. When it comes to concealers, I do prefer them to be full coverage and hopefully crease resistant or creaseproof. With this concealer, I can get full coverage using a concealer brush, however, due to the fact that it doesn't dry down matte but stays creamy on the face, if you don't set it will it will start to crease shortly after you put it on. I don't have any wrinkles, but, because it is neither crease resistant or creaseproof, you will need to use a powder that has great mattifying properties over it, so that way, it can wear for a very long time on ones face, without it creasing, caking up, or melting away. I like this concealer mainly for the full coverage that it provides, it is completely fragrance free as well, it's super cheap, and a pot of this stuff truly does last a super long time, for sure. Even though I happen to have dry skin, I feel that this concealer can be used by all skin types. It just takes setting it very well, and it will last a very long time on ones face without starting to look weird in any way. All setting powders definitely aren't created equal, so if the setting powder that you use to set this concealer with doesn't happen to work the best, than I can on,y recommend trying out other setting powders until you find one that truly does work best when it comes setting such a very creamy type of concealer.
Great investment for my dark circles. :) Buying makeup online is always a gamble, but after reading some reviews and considering the price, I thought I'd give this product a try. I'm Chinese with light to medium skin tone and pretty noticeable dark circles under my eyes. I've tried all types of creams, but none have really helped that much. I've tried different concealers with mild success in covering them up (or at least reducing them a bit). Since my dark circles are dark bluish, I read that an orange-based concealer would work best to neutralize. The product is very creamy and easy to apply (I used my fingers, but will also try with a brush at some point). It blends easily and the medium color worked well for me. I was very excited to look like a refreshed, living person! I would definitely purchase this product again.
I am very upset that I cannot find shade 840 anywhere. It was my absolutely favorite shade, it matches my skin perfectly. I got the most compliment I’ve ever gotten on my skin over the past couple of years. There’s been no other powder and any other brand I can find that works like this one. But now you stop selling to 840 anywhere I go to look. When I try to find it on Amazon, it’s $80 or more. I don’t understand this. Can someone please reach out to me, I will buy a bunch in bulk if you give me the option. I’ll buy like 100 of them. Help a girl out !!
Absolutely amazing for me! This is the miracle makeup I’ve searched for! The coverage under my eyes is unlike anything I’ve ever tried before! I don’t think I even need foundation or coverup under my eyes anymore! I’m 57’ and I have dark circles and other makeup always makes me look cakey. This is so smooth and sheer and I look so much younger too! Plus it evens out my complexion superbly! Please keep this on the market forever!

COMMENTS : First I'd like to comment that I hate when manufacturers change their formula without mentioning it on the packaging, thus letting the consumers think they buy the same product while it’s actually something completely different, it’s totally dishonest. I’d like the manufacturers to remember that they live thanks to consumers money. In the case of this powder, there’s nothing in common between the old and the new formula and I have to admit this is really an improvement (unlike the Colorstay liquid foundations). New "talc-based" formula : Talc, Zinc Stearate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Polyethylene, Phenyl Trimethicone, Nylon-12, Kaolin, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Ethylhexylglycerin, Methicone, Lecithin, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Silica, Phenoxyethanol +/- (CI 77491/CI 77492/CI 77499/Iron Oxides, CI 77891/Titanium Dioxide) The old mica-based formula was not a good product, irritating, shiny, no shine control and required a lot more work than usual to look acceptable. The new/current talc-based formula is absolutely stunning ! While the old formula was wax-like in the pan, hard to pick up and needed strong buffing to look great, the new formula is light-as-air and blends like a dream. Beware for this powder has a very soft, very silky but VERY powdery texture. It’s so easy to pick up that I barely dab my brush into the powder to get the amount I need (don’t swirl the brush, you’ll end up in an opaque powder fog). As usual, the shade 820 Light is a good match, ever-so-slightly too dark (good for summer if you don’t want to switch between foundation shades), to my pale skin with yellow undertones (I used to wear Colorstay Liquid for oily skin before its bad reformulation back in 2013). It slightly darkens as soon as it sucks moisture (like most powders), either from sebum or setting spray, but neither darkens further throughout the day nor oxidizes to a orange shade, it really stays true-to-tone all day long. It's unfortunately too dark for winter (and the lighter shade is too pink so I'll give up on this powder during winter). I also use the shade 880 Translucent which is now ever-so-slightly whitening upon application but becomes truly translucent as soon as it’s loaded with moisture (or setting spray). I admit I’d prefer such a sheer shade to be yellow-based (this one has only the faintest beigy-pink undertone). This is a VERY matte powder : no shine, no glow, no shimmer. It’s long lasting, non-drying, non-irritating and has a average oil-control (shine peeks through at regular speed, but blotting papers fix that, the powder does not comes off or crease). It has a sheer-to-light coverage so don’t rely on it to cover blemishes (it’s not a powder foundation) but it does what it’s meant to : setting foundation and toning down shine. I don’t like the compact : on the one hand the round window allows you to see the actual color of the powder upon buying, and the storing compartment for the puff (underneath the powder) allows the mirror to stay clean and the puff not to stay on the powder (which is better sanitary-wise). On the other hand it’s bulkier than usual and it’s exasperating to pick-up powder then raise the compact to reach the mirror then lower it to pick-up more powder then raise it again etc. The velvet puff itself is unusually good quality (it reminds me of the puffs in my asian powders) and its black color allows to see the slightest amount of powder you’ve picked up. I personnally prefer using a brush or my own puff, or a damp sponge to layer more powder on my oily nose (this way the result is less cakey). It’s fragrance-free, smell-free, and free of synthetic sunscreen. I completely agree with another reviewer : a refill would be a great idea (less expensive so more budget-friendly, and less plastic used so more nature-friendly).
