The Revlon ColorStay Looks Book Eye Shadow palette in original has amazing colors and they are long lasting. Every color in the palette is beautiful and has great pigment. The colors range from darker brown to a golden shimmer so you can pair any of the colors together. The eyeshadow goes on so smooth and stays in place. I am definitely a fan of the Revlon ColorStay Looks Book™ Eye Shadow Palette in Original. The size is perfect for travel or to keep in your makeup bag and throw in your purse. The pigmentation is really good, considering the size of pan for each color in the palette. I had a mild issue with some of the shimmers not having as much color payoff, but that was easily remedied by using a brush sprayed with setting spray. Overall I would definitely purchase more of these palettes just because I love a product I can throw in my purse when I need to do my makeup on the run. I tried applying with brushes and fingers and had no problem applying with either. I do suggest using a smaller brush though because the pan sizes are not that big. I will be purchasing more of the palettes.

The eyeshadow palette is a cute neutral mini that is nicely packaged. I was excited to swatch it before applying it to my eyes. The satiny shimmer shades do give a soft glittery fall off. You will need a dampened or wetted makeup brush for them. You might be able to get your fingertip wet and then apply. The product washes off easily with just water. I applied a tan sort of pale yellow matte across my lid and slightly above my crease for a transition shade. I used the darkest matte in my outer corner, and both of the lighter shimmers in my lid center and inner corner. I've never had a brow powder product, and the tip looked like it would create very thin, hairlike strokes. I was not disappointed with the brow pencil. Affordable, versatile palette great for everyday use

I’m a big fan of palettes and have spent probably way too much on these items (like the Urban Decay ones) because the cheaper ones I’ve gotten in the past haven’t been that great. Revlon is a good brand in general and this palette was 40% off at Priceline so I could not resist buying it to see how it fared against the more expensive brands. The double-ended brush that comes with this palette is a great little brush. It allows me to apply eyeshadow smoothly and evenly. The palette itself is very thin so it’s handy to carry around in your handbag. It’s good for travel too, especially because it comes with a brush! The only con is that the plastic packaging looks a bit cheaper, but hey, as long as the eyeshadows are good, I’m not complaining. The eyeshadows themselves have good staying power. I’ve worn these to work and they have stayed on for the 10+ hours. I haven’t had any problems with creasing or clumping either (I note that I always apply an eyeshadow primer underneath though). I have had some fallout with the shimmery shades but that is quite common with shimmers. It wasn’t much so it wasn’t an issue for me. The colours are also pigmented - another tick for this product. I would recommend this palette as it is great for the price! The colours are more neutral so you can wear them everyday. I’ve been using this palette for months and it doesn’t look like it will run out anytime soon.

If you are going to buy one eyeshadow palette this season, make it this one. I am a professional makeup artist and in my opinion this handy little palette is what I wish all my palettes were like. The pigmentation is high, so you don't end up using much and makes little to no fall out So it's pretty fool proof. The shades suit and enhances all eye colours and there is a good amount of highlight lowlight and transitioning shades (the ones that help blend the others together). It's most definitely a favourite in both my personal makeup bag and my professional kit. Oh and It's inexpensive!!! Great value.

Beautiful colours!

This palette caught my eye when I was out looking at makeup. I have fair skin with hazel eyes, and these of burgundy kind of colours always tend to make my hazel eyes pop. The formula is very easy to use, stays on all day, and doesn't crumble. I love that the palette has all 3 shimmer, matte, and metallic colours, so I can create a natural look or a bold party look. I can easily use the same palette for creating a quick and easy natural look for work, and then adding bolder shadows after work when I go out. I own another 2 of the palettes in this range and I'm always reaching for them. Plus they easily fit into my makeup bag, ideal for travel. Always have gorgeous eyes with these! Day or night! The packaging is super cute too! Plus great price!

My Favourite Eye Shadow Pallet Ever!!!

I absolutely love this eye shadow pallet. The colours work so beautifully together and it lasts all day. Such a great pallet if you just want to use a couple of colours together or experiment and use them all. I love that there is a mix of matt and sparkly shadows.

Very pigmented and long lasting

I tried this eyeshadow palette in 'ENIGMA' which is a nice mix of dark matte purples, and light shimmery shades. Unfortunately during postage, the very top dark purple shade fell out and went everywhere. I could tell straight away just how pigmented it was because it stained everything haha! It's definitely very long lasting and good for creating various looks - from natural daytime looks to bold nighttime looks. The palette is small and portable, so ideal for travelling. I did find it a bit difficult just getting one shade onto my brush at a time, so definitely use small makeup brushes for application. You can use an eyeshadow base first, but I found concealer worked just as well. The eyeshadows stayed on all day, so I'd definitely try them out again.

The packaging is pretty basic – just a black case with a clear top so the shades can be easily seen, and with a double ended brush. I prefer matte shadows but I learned to make the most of the metallic shades in this palette by just using them sparingly to create a bit of pop. The eye shadow glides onto my lids easily after I apply an eye primer, and I find the shadows to be quite pigmented. I can build up the colour if I wish to create a more vibrant shade.
