Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition - PS4

The game is great, it has an amazing atmosphere playing on quite a few phobias. The story is interesting offering a unique addition to the resident evil story. What a truly great game that makes the player feel powerful but feeble at the same time. The natural progression of the character works really well as you progress throughout the game. There's some areas that feel clunky and rushed but overall it offers a great experience and an interesting storyline.

One of the greatest Resident evil games that they have recently came out with. A really scary survival horror game that on sale can be had for pretty cheap. As well as getting it with all the dlc which are really great on their own. This is the game responsible for putting Capcom back into the spotlight and definitely was the right direction to start taking the series back into.

My god.. Capcom did it. They saved the franchise. I'm honestly shocked.When the first teaser dropped I thought for sure this would just be a P.T. copy which I was sort of okay with. Turns out I was wrong. This is a classic Resident Evil game. Like, RE1 classic. Complete with puzzle solving, INVENTORY MANAGEMENT, and tense stressful boss encounters. The game brings back the storage box system even! I can't stress enough how amazing this game is as a long time RE fan. If you're one too, do yourself a favor and pull the trigger on this one. Best game since RE4.... May even be better.

A classic that’s quality still holds up today!

I bought resident evil 7 initially back in 2017 on release for pc and thoroughly enjoyed the story and the design aspects of the game. 7 years later and a whole new generation of consoles made me look for the opportunity to really dive back into some old games that I never really got to 100%. As someone who finds great joy in playing games to full completion this was the perfect one to satisfy my hunger. The story is roughly 6-7 hours long on a first playthrough which is an appealing time for starting. A great experience throughout

The game arrived by delivery two days after I ordered it. Playing through the game everything worked smoothly without any issues. I think it is a great game for those who love horror games and also for those who don't have a lot of horror experience, a great balance of horror and action. There are plenty of scary moments, the game always keeps you on your toes and alert but its not scary to the point of being unenjoyable.

Back to core RE values

Really pleased with this iteration of Resident Evil. It is back to what the first couple did so well, but improved by the power of the XBox one. Slow tense build ups, creepy sounds, odd happenings and plenty of frights. Great game to play in the dark when everyone else is in bed. The RE style puzzles are there too and the control system is easy to manage. Not finished it yet, but already looking forward to the season pass extras that came with this version .As usual excellent service by CEX. Easy to order and prompt delivery.

Evil Revitalized

The complete edition of a fantastic return to form after the disappointing 6th entry. With a focus on survival and exploring cramped areas with dangerous enemies, the fear is even stronger in first person mode. Interesting environments and puzzle elements bring back the feel of the original games. The Baker family make for an entertaining set of antagonists that you battle throughout the game, with Jack stealing the show. The lack of enemy variety and a proper mercenaries mode are a bit of a downer, however the gold edition adds all of the dlc with the highlights being the 2 story additions. Though not perfect it is one of the high points in the franchise and well worth checking.

Fantastic game with DLC a lot of frightening fun

Bought this game last month after Resi 7 disappeared from PS Plus and was great to be able to continue the game and check out the DLC 😄Love the frightening survival horror atmosphere, range of DLCs and it makes a good introduction for someone unfamiliar with the Resident Evil franchise 😄

My second favorite Resident Evil of all time! Survival Horror makes Resident Evil feel great!

I enjoyed this game from start to finish. Evil set at a Residence, dark, gritty, disturbing atmosphere., backtracking, most fearsome enemies I've seen in a video game for a while. Exploration and backtracking (till the final act of the game). Item management, puzzles( quite easy to understand and not much puzzles was kinda disappointing) but glad it's in. Items you must examine to find another item within it. Files must be read to understand the story as well as VHS tapes which I'd love to see in further Resident Evil games. This game pretty much felt like old Resident Evil which is a lot better than the latest games except for the Revelations series. Tension and actual fear is what brought a smile to my face and enjoyment when playing this game I bought this game
