As a recreational polypharmic I use way more than the recommended dose. But it definitely helps me sleep.
I find this helps me get back to sleep when my sleep is interrupted. It doesn't always work, because sometimes, environmental factors, make it impossible to resume sleep, once it's been interrupted.
