I got this RENPHO Bluetooth Body Fat Scale about 3 years ago when I was trying to lose 50lbs that I had gained the previous year. It was very easy to use and is accurate enough that my weight is always right around where it should be when I use this or the one at the doctors office. I ordered mine off of Amazon when they had a good deal going on with it and it’s worked great for this long already. I think I changed the batteries about once a year so that’s nice too!

I bought this scale mainly because it linked to my phone to keep track of my weight. When I got it, I realized the app tracks so much more. BMI, body water, body fat, muscle mass, etc. You can even input your body measurements. If someone else uses the scale, if your app isn’t open it won’t save the weight. If your app is open and someone else uses it, the app will ask you if this is your weight or not before just recording it which I love. Makes it easy for the entire household to use it without messing with my saved weight!

Especially since i am currently staying home and had the tendency of losing track on the amount I eat. I also became less active in my fitness activities hence the unnecessary weight gain. Having this made me realize how much weight I gain and continuously work on the improvement to achieve my weight goal. It is safe, easy to install and use. And the mobile app keeps your record. Accuracy for the weight is tested since i had a manual weighing scale as well to compare the figure. Mobile app and scale does not need bluetooth pairing, just open the app on your mobile phone and step on the scale. :) they automatically communicate by themselves.
After a few months I love it. My favorite feature is the "trend" function in the app which shows your weight on a graph so you can visualize your daily weight loss and also see weekly trends. I think it is pretty accurate. I don't use the bmi, fat, or other data but it does track that in the app as well. It didn't get 5 stars because it came with dead batteries.
Loved the scale for a few days it lasted. Suddenly the screen randomly began showing numbers that went up and down, but not responding when I stepped on scale. Tried resetting, changing batteries and everything but still not working. I'm now skeptical to buy another Renpho scale to replace this one
The scale itself is really nice But I, myself, cannot use it. When i read the description on the app they left out very important information for people with knee and shoulder replacements and people with Pace Makers. You can NOT use this scale if you have had any replacements or a pace maker. The scale sends an electric current through your body to measure everything it indicates. Not usable with metal parts or pace maker in the body. Im very disappointed thay I cannot use it myself but a great gift to my daughter who can use it. Especially for the price i paid.
It's not accurate. It's on level ground and calibrated, but it says the exact same thing every time and I know I'm not the weight it says. I weighed myself on 2 others and they're closer to each other not in the dot, but a couple pounds away vs this one 23 pounds over. Thankfully I'm not a scale freak or this would've made me CRAZY!! It's going on the trash and it's back to the drawing board. It's sad because I liked the app. The scale is just trash.
I overpaid for this. This is the Elis 1 model. You can get it cheaper by doing a search for the model. This is not a $99 model. The Elis 1 list for $39.99 original retail at renpho website.It is a nice scale and I'm using it with the MyFitnessPlan. The app is real easy to set up. Please note - the app and the online website are 2 different accounts. You don't have to use the website to use the scale. Android users need to set location permission for app to get all readings.

You DO NOT need to do anything at all with Bluetooth or your cell phone. If all you want to know is your weight, simply charge up the scale and step on it. The scale is very small. It looks like a child's scale. However, I'm a 6'4" man and have no problem weighing myself. Hopefully they'll make it larger in the future though. Unfortunately you cannot use batteries with these scales. You must use a USB cord to charge them and the cord they give you is less than 3' long and does not cone with an electrical adapter to plug into a regular wall outlet. You simple have to plug it into a USB source.
