Redken Extreme Length Conditioner (1 Litre)

This shampoo, conditioner, and deep conditioner were given to me for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. My hair is really fine and thinning, wavy and uncolored. I've been using these products for a few weeks now and have nothing bad to say about them, but nothing great either. My scalp feels healthy and normal, my hair clean and moisturized. The scent is mild, slightly herbal, which is nice compared to lots of other companies' overly-fragranced products. I can't think of any negatives, but it's just not giving me any particular reason to stay with it either. Upon receiving this box I instantly read the ingredients.. ouch after I was afraid to use it in my hair! I never put hair products that contain alcohol in my hair! Since I got this box for free to review I had no choice. Worst mistake of my life! I am a hairstylist and have lightened hair, this made my hair stick together and feel ultra dry as I was applying to my damp hair in the shower, I couldn’t even get a brush through it.. I used this in combo with the matching shampoo and mask… and my hair is still messed up three weeks after use. If you have lightened hair or fine hair I would steer clear of this line , it is absolutely awful, I have had better luck with drug store bought brands then this crap! I have big lips thanks to genetics, but they've been quite chapped and shriveled due to the cold. You can feel the plumping agent but it isn't painful like other plumping lip products. Im actually very sensitive to plumping agents and this is a nice warming slight tingling sensation. I got 2 colors and this is the one I tried on first. Just take care not to click it all the way up and only click up what you need and your packaging won't have a huge mess. If my big lips don't cause the packaging to become a huge mess, with a little bit of care yours shouldn't either. The reason it doesn't click down is because of how emollient the product is, it wouldn't click down without a huge mess and messing up the product, the packaging makes sense. It was the girl who complained about this not being some crazy high shine formula with a picture of her frowning that actually sold me on this product, I didn't want something crazy shiny. I do like the shine and the sparkle in the formula isn't crazy noticeable. Overall I really enjoy this and I'd suggest it if you're thinking about it.

I feel like this one, is the closest I've come to finding the perfect conditioner! It has a fairly pleasant smell (not fruity... I can't quite place it... it's almost a vanilla? The biggest payoff for me is that this product has helped my curls stay structured longer!! Previously my hair would dry curly and cute, but the curls would immediately fall or frizz out with a day/ponytail/sleeping. Not with Redken lengthen and strengthen though! I cannot believe how helpful this has been. I genuinely did not have any expectation of huge payoff and boy was I impressed! I see myself sticking with this haircare line for the foreseeable future.

I was really excited for the extreme lengths system because I have pretty fine, thin, breakage prone hair. I also feel like more recently my hair has been thinning. The Redken Extreme Length Conditioner is meant to be paired with the other products in the system- which I have been doing. I have been using the conditioner after shampooing and using the Triple Action Treatment from the Extreme Length system. I had anticipated after shampooing, using the treatment for 5 minutes, then conditioning, that my hair would feel heavy and weighed down. It doesn’t at all! It feels so silky and smooth both while wet and dry after styling! The scent is nice! I don’t LOVE it, but I also don’t hate it!! My hair feels lightweight, yet more dense if that makes sense? Very silky and smooth. I would definitely recommend this product to others, and actually already have! When mine runs out I will for sure be buying some more!

Every other conditioner I tried has tried out or made my hair is super frizzy and almost deflated my curls. Yeah this conditioner does the exact opposite and brings so much life back to my hair! I’ve relaxed my hair many times since I was a child so the fact that one wash brings back all my natural curls astonishing! This shows that it’s going deep into the hair follicles and really bring my hair back to life like it should be. There isn’t much of a smell to this conditioner at which I do thoroughly enjoy because too much time can be a bit offputting. Bonus fact is that since I recently colored my hair blue and green, bleeding happens frequently yet with the combination of the shampoo and conditioner the bleeding was minimal and did not strip any color out of my hair. My favorite conditioner

I have thin, fine, wavy to curly hair and this is my favorite conditioner. I'm surprised by the negative reviews but I guess maybe it depends on each persons hair type. I have sensitive skin and am prone to scalp breakouts and this keeps my skin and scalp acne free. No breakouts or issues with sensitivity. It doesn't feel like it's building up and I've used it for months. I do think the matching shampoo is a bit too drying for me but I love this conditioner. It is moisturizing and strengthening for my hair. It keeps it soft and easy to comb out but doesn't weigh my hair down. My hair doesn't fall out any more or less than normal and I do see less breakage. I've used the big name salon products and curly hair products and this one is my favorite. One of the WORST conditioners

I'm really only giving 2 stars because the product smells nice. I have thin, fine hair that's mid back length. The conditioner didn't feel moisturizing when I applied it, almost feeling thick and tacky. I let it sit for at least 3 minutes. Washed it out. After towel drying, it was difficult to brush out considering I generously used the conditioner. I applied my usual thermal spray and blow dried. My hair was getting tangled as I blow dried. After it was completely dry I couldn't run my hands through my hair without pieces catching somewhere. Even some breakage. Overall my hair felt dry and dull. It didn't help with frizz or static. It was so bad I actually went back and rewashed my hair and used the product I was previously using.
