I have used this color on and off for a while now and although it does cover my grey hair, it only lasts about 8 days before the greys are showing again. I don't wash my hair every day, so that is not the issue. I've been told that my hair grows fast and that's why my greys show so quickly. I'm not totally convinced that's the reason. I do work in a salon thank God, otherwise I would be broke from getting it done so often

I use many formulas from the Redken Colour line. In my opinion Cover Fusion is the BEST option for grey coverage. It fully covers greys, while keeping the hair healthy and shiny. If you are a professional stylist I highly recommend using this on your clients. If you are a customer looking to have your pesky greys coloured, ask your stylist if they use the Redken colour line.

Love my color, it always looks amazing using any Redken hair color. We mixed 4RR + 6RR for mine and the staying power is by far better than any other red we’ve used in my hair! I’ve used other variations of permanent, demi-permanent and fashion colors but this one is definitely a keeper for me. This picture is after probably 6 weeks with no touch up and I still get compliments every day!
Awesome product for gray coverage! Will cover even the most stubborn gray hairs and very pigmented. Since they are double pigmented they tend to look a shade darker than what they say so keep that in mind when picking your level. Use with 20 volume developer for tougher grays.
As a professional, it's important to me that my clients needs are met when it comes to gray coverage, and this does the job! only downside is its rather thick, and application can be tricky. Its got great coverage however, which makes up for the consistency!
I nnnnI switched from Chromatics because though I absolutely loved the even coverage of Chromatics it does fade quickly. I was assured by the rave reviews that Cover fusion covers equally well. Bull crap. It covers fifty percent and I’ve been doing my own gray roots for four years. Going back to Chromatics.
High quality color. Use 10 volume processor for depositing color and not lifting your natural color (introducing unnecessary warmth). This may not cover your grays entirely but it does a great job at covering/blending them 80-90%. Provides a more natural look, in my opinion. Otherwise, use the 20 volume processor but beware that this will lift your hair color and thereby introduce warmth (perhaps unwanted) into your hair. I personally prefer an ashy/neutral tone, which is minimized by using 10 volume processing solution.

The other great thing about Redken is that their color chart is very easy to follow, so you don't have to worry about using the wrong color. Just follow the Redken chart. Cover Fusion 6 NA gives you a nice ash brown color with excellent root cover up. If you're a brunette, 6NA will not give you those brassy tones that box colors can do. If you have brassy tones in your hair, Cover Fusion 6NA will tone them down. The tube of color is enough for two or three uses. I have used this for several years, and switched to Chromatics per a recommendation. Cover Fusion works just as well, but is so much easier to work with - it is a thicker consistency. And, the color lasts forever. I love these products!
