Elizabeth Arden Red Door Eau De Toilette, Spray Naturel - 0.33 fl oz

This perfume might not be for everyone but it has been my head turner perfume for years. Every time I wear it, random people have approached me to ask what I'm wearing as it is exquisite. I first got this as a present from a cousin who found out about it when a lady walked into the store and the smell of her perfume enchanted him and he had to ask what was it. When I tried this, I was also enchanted and have gone through bottles of it. I have always had it in my closet and it is my perfume when I want to walk in a room and have all eyes on me. It literally intoxicates people.

I grew up with this scent because my mom always used it so this is such a nostalgic smell for me! I’m not a fresh florally girl so I love that this perfume has more of a sensual smell with a hint of floral that’s not over bearing. I use it as my special occasions perfume rather than everyday. Also, the bottle has a classic aesthetic look so I don’t mind it sitting out on my dresser.

I had a bottle of this a few years ago and i did not initially like it, i sprayed it indoors. It smelled heavy and 80's and i couldn't pick out any notes. Once i stepped outside however it changed, it was a grown up perfume where i was used to candy sweet for teens this was for a woman. It contrasted being sharp yet musky, heavy but also light. I remember it turned heads. I was stopped and asked what perfume i was wearing by women and seemed to be an attractive scent to men. I would defo buy another bottle if i didn't love always red so much.

Unfortunately, there has been a reformulation within the last few years which, while still nice, has ruined this iconic perfume. If you don't know what you're missing you're fine with using this but the subnotes of the scent aren't quite so pleasant as they once were. It is strange to say the least and I have no idea why things were changed when the scent was perfect already. My mother still has her original perfume from decades ago and it still smells amazing after all these years, mine I do not expect to as sad as that fact is

Once this fragrance settles in my skin for a few minutes, it starts to become a beautiful powdery, warm, rose and jasmine fragrance that dances on a base of honey with the tuberose note floating above. It all works together in a way that smells amazingly sexy and feminine to my nose. I find myself burying my face into my robe or shirt to smell the sweet honey and floral scent anytime I am wearing it now. I would consider this a more mature floral appropriate for a woman in her 30’s or older. It is intense and can become overwhelming when more than a couple of sprays are used. I don’t recommend wearing this to dinner. The tuberose note seems to make it difficult to eat or enjoy flavors when I wear this. However, this is very affordable and easy purchased at department stores or TJ Maxx at reasonable prices. It smells more modern than most fragrances from the 80’s or 90’s. It is not a safe blind buy, but it is a nice departure from the modern fragrances of today.

I absolutely love Red Door by Elizabeth Arden it is one of my all time favorites, I have been wearing it for a long time. I love the iconic and invigorating fraquence. It is long lasting and smells devine. I would definitely recommend this to other's.

I might just have a thing for [brand:elizabeth-arden] fragrances. My go-to scent is her Sunflowers perfume, but I now follow with Red Door. I like it because it smells sophisticated and classy. Not too "old" smelling and not floral or alcohol(ish). I also like the bottle! I've been using this for a while now, it takes a long time as I like to swap and change from one day to the next and this is one of those that I use. It has such a lovely smell, feminine but quite strong and it lasts a long time which I love. The price is good too, not as expensive as some but definitely a must buy

Great product I really love Elizabeth Arden red door very much. My mother has used it The red door perfume is a floral scent jasmine violet orange and lilies that’s so pretty cool smell. It’s lasting long time. It’s super smell. Definitely I would recommend to others. And I will be buying again in the future.

I purchased this perfume and the Vince Camuno Bella as options for my spring wedding. This came first so here’s my review! The packaging is beautiful and the scent is so lovely! It’s very mature, yet floral. There are notes of violets and rose with a natural musky undertone (and not in an overpowering way!) it smells so gorgeous. This will likely be a staple. Oh and the smell lasts 😍 I hate when the scent dissapears after a few minutes, this one lingers in the best way.
