Sound is very crisp but doesn't get too loud. I had an arctis 9 before this and it broke so I had to replace it. I thought that the Steelseries headset was bad because it would it would periodically turn off without notice and drove me nuts but I will say I miss it now.There were a number of good reviews for this headset which I find very puzzling but I think it's because the reviewers didn't use it as much with bluetooth on at the same time.The sound is often distorted and requires frequent resets, and this includes times when I am not using bluetooth. Conversely, if I turn off the xbox the headset will automatically turn off even if I am connected to my phone which is just mind-boggling.When it works, it is fine. My speech seems to be clear and the microphone doesn't have to be too close to my mouth. Reading about it is very impressive, but it is so horrendously unreliable. I wouldn't buy from them again.

We have plenty of wireless headphones in our house but we had to try these with our PS5. Spoiler, we love this gaming headset. It is super comfy to wear and fits us perfectly as well as our boys. These are very well insulated, which allows whoever is playing to focus solely on the game. The haptics also work really well and we love the added dimension they add to any game we are playing. Very easy to setup and connect and the sound is flawless. At the moment we haven’t needed the headset piece but we have tested it and it works great. I love that it is easily detachable so if you just want to use the headphones for listening you can. Overall, this is a great headset for any single player game, and it really immerses you in any game you play.

In this they do, the other person can hear the surrounding sounds at your end.But in terms if noise cancelling for oneself where the person using the headphones can't hear, then yes with enough volume you wont be able to hear whats going.Another thing that could have been better was that the little piece to connect the headphones to the PS4 has a USB C. And on the Playstation there is only 1 USBC so if that is used up you cant put anything else. So maybe should have been another end. But its not too bad.Overall though besides the above mentioned points everything else was perfect!
