Unfortunately despite such a big box it didn't come with a Rayban case so my wife was kinda disappointed since she couldn't stuff it in her bag to use the next day. Delivery also took longer than usual.

I recently purchased a pair of sunglasses and received a used pair that was smeared and dirty. It was a fight to get them to accept a return despite the fact that I had not gotten what I paid for (a brand-new pair of sunglasses) and it took them nearly a month to ship out another pair. Upon receipt of the second pair, I realized that the sunglasses were in worse condition than the first and, to my horror, had hair stuck in the frames. My concern was not handled professionally as I was originally denied a return and refund. Eventually, upon threatening to file a dispute with my credit card company, I was able to send the sunglasses back for a second time. Not surprisingly, I did not receive my refund until one month later despite Luxottica Group being in receipt of them. I understand that financial losses due to returns of goods is becoming a problem for companies, but from an ethical standpoint, returned goods should not be sold to consumers at full price without disclosure. This is especially true for eyewear as diseases can easily spread. (Additionally, given the amount of inauthentic Ray-Ban products being produced and sold, a dishonest customer could easily purchase an authentic pair from the website and switch it out with an inauthentic pair.)

I really like these glasses. I was contemplating on getting polarized and or nonpolarized, a friend said, "If you're going to spend that much money on glasses and plan on keeping them, why wouldn't you spend the extra for polarized." So I bought polarized, I am glad I did! These are some really good glasses, people compliment me on them. These are just some classic glasses, I am glad I invested in a good pair of frames. Btw I bought the 52 mm, but it was a tad too small, so I upgraded to 55 mm (see picture below.) After buying quality glasses, I will start purchasing products based on quality instead of price. I take MUCH better care of these glasses, no telling how much money I wasted on all the other glasses!

Ray Ban glasses is a famous brand for a long time and is still trusted by everyone. The feeling of wearing glasses is very comfortable and light. Traditional Ray-Ban nose pads are made of very soft and flexible plastic, finely detailed, with embossed RB lettering. The button is elliptical. The frames are sharp and polished, not rough, the connection between the frames and the lenses is very well polished.

Defective and Cabelas won't make it right

I bought these back in January to have for this summer. I just started wearing them now that the weather is getting nice. I noticed out in the sun that in both lenses there are two perfect circles. And it's pretty noticeable. My other Ray Bans do not have this. I reached out to Cabela's about this issue and they said it sounds like I received I defective pair. But since I'm outside the return window there is nothing they can do. Knowing that they are defective, Cabela's should stand behind what they are selling and make this right, regardless.

Initially very disappointing, but ultimately the company came through

I thought I had ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses but instead got a pair to clear prescription lenses in a pair of Ray Ban frames. When I called customer service the first person I talked to was rude, basically made me feel stupid because I had not checked the "tint" option at the end of the order and acted as if any idiot would know that I was getting clear lenses even though I ordered Ray Ban sunglasses and chose the gold frame, green lens option at the beginning of the ordering process. He said I had no choice but to order a whole other pair of glasses at full price. However, she said that the company wanted their customers to be happy, and she agreed that I could send the glasses back and they would put in new tinted lenses and would only charge me their cost for the lenses. So overall, I feel like the company lived up to its claim that it values customer satisfaction, but I only got that result by going above the initial rude and unhelpful customer service rep and speaking with a supervisor.
