Ever since I purchased this brush, it is the only one I use for blush. It picks up powders, liquid, creams well. The bristles are aren’t hard or rough and the shape of the brush makes for an easy application for a soft airbrushed finish. No streakiness or fall out either. I got mine for $23 at Sephora. Definitely recommend to everyone especially since I am a beginner at blush. This makes it so quick and effortless. #rarebeauty #brushes #softpinch #beauty

I purchased this brush to use with the Rare Beauty liquid blush. Like many others, I found the blush to be very pigmented and wanted a soft diffuse look. I have other synthetic brushes so wanted to try this one. The bristles are soft and do a great job at diffusing the blush. I love that the bristles are angled so you can get really close to under your eye area. However, I’m not a big fan of the actual handle. I wish there was some texture to the handle for better gripping.

I got this brush in the hopes of getting a better result with the Soft Pinch blush; I found it patchy and hard to blend out, and it disappointed me. I ended up being truly blown away with how good this brush is! not only does it do a lovely job with the liquid blush, it’s also amazing with my PMG powder blush. When I first got it I was concerned about the bigger size of the brush, but the cat’s paw shape fits the upper face perfectly. You can do a flattering soft blush draping so easily with this brush’s shape. It’s not my first choice if I want precision, but for a soft look it’s excellent. It’s also great for a soft bronzer application.

This brush has a great density, perfect for the liquid pinch blush, no other brushes have worked besides this one so far. I used to use a beauty blender but brushes are so much easier to use and I love having things for their own purpose. This brush is angles enough and it applies and blends the bush perfectly. Sometimes I like to mix my blush with liquid highlighter and I use this brush to blend it seamlessly. It leaves no streaks and it doesn't lift my foundation, doesn't make my blush look like it's not done properly because it gives it a smooth finish, unlike other tools. If you have been searching for a liquid/cream blush brush, look no further! I have so many wonderful cream and liquid blushes but felt they were not reaching their full potential when applied with a beauty blender or fingers. Now that I have the soft pinch blush brush, I can finally wear all of my cream and liquid blushes with confidence. Beware, when using liquid blush, you only need two tiny drops- otherwise, your blush will look too heavy. Also, the price point on this brush is unbeatable. And it goes without saying, the brush itself is very aesthetically pleasing. More importantly, the density of the bristles is just right. They are soft but packed together to make it more dense. I eventually bought this brush to go with my Soft Pinch Liquid blushers from Rare Beauty, and I am very glad I did! It is well-weighted, the synthetic bristles are as good as real animal products, but obviously much less cruel! The packaging for Rare Beauty is aesthetically lovely, which is another bonus. This brush works very well to blend out the liquid blushers quickly, as you do need to move fast with them and only use a little amount! I have also used this brush with other potted cream products and it works wonderfully.
I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the quality and results from these brushes. I had to updraft and replenish my main brushes so i have our have purchased the concealer, highlighter and all over eye shadow. I never thought I would need one for liquid blushes because always used a beauty blender sponge or my fingers but oh wow how glad I am to have gotten this. The shape of this is perfect for the cheek and any areas of contour. Super soft bristles that picks up and blends wonderfully. The results are nice and soft easy to work your way.
So I have the original brush that I’d purchased a few months ago. The description has not said anything about changing the brush’s quality but I think this is definitely softer than the previous version. Their last blush brush was great but it was super scratchy after a few uses and just got even scratchier as I used it over time. So it went to the side never to be used again. Then this “new” one came out. I’ve only used it a few times and had not yet washed it but so far the bristles on this is so much softer and is not scratchy at all. It’s a good brush for liquid and cream blushes. The application is smooth and the angle of the bristles are great for my style of application. Great brush overall and definitely recommend!
Mostly apply my cream blushes with fingertip in order to get the best pigment payoff and even application. I can get a flush or build for more intensity.Wanted a brush…Tried several different brushes but just didn’t work…either blended color away or uneven application. Searched and searched for the right brush. Soft Pinch, had to purchase. Ideal for cream blush! The perfect brush. I swirl or tap brush in my Tarte cream blush or others and stipple on cheeks. Wow, the right pigment, smooth even application. Perfect size brush. Density but soft. I’ve tried Sephora’s brush, #50, works as well but bigger in size. Soft pinch, very best! So pleased.
This brush is a MUST HAVE for liquid blush! I’ve been using Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Blush for over a year. Before getting this brush, I’ve used my fingers and/or Beauty Blender for application. This brush makes all the difference. The blush never laid down evenly when using my fingers or Beauty Blender. This brush changes everything, the blush lays down perfectly. No unevenness and beautiful diffusion of the product. I put three very small dots of the blush, with it’s applicator, on my cheekbone then use the brush to blend it in. This is the look they were going for, just lovely. Buy it, you won’t regret it.
