I like that these are made in the U.S. and I prefer to store my food in glass containers. I was lucky to have found these in purple and pink. They’re safe for freezer, refrigerator, microwave(except for lid), oven(except for lid) and dishwasher. The only thing that I don’t like is that the lids don’t fit on them tight enough. Unlike the circle containers, those lids fit tight and i’m able to let air out with those for an airtight seal. So minus a star for not sealing tight enough. I would recommend. They’re affordable.

This product was advertised as 6 storage containers and only 1 was shipped. Your seller is now telling me this was a mistake and I am only getting 1 container. I advised they should be honoring the product as advertised and I believe you also should honor your advertised product. Additionally, this one container priced at $17.99 is too expensive for the product. I would appreciate it if you would please reply and advise when the additional 5 containers will be shipped to complete the order as advertised when purchased. Thank you.

Absolute garbage - we brought a whole heap of these + other sizes. The glass is fine but the lids have zero durability if you heat them. I managed to warp mine just warming up some food. The lids are way too flimsy and thin for general use and appear to have very little resitance to being heated even though they are rated as microwave & dishwasher safe. I didn't dare put them in the dishwasher and even hand washing them in mildly hot water can risk deformation. 2 or 3 of the lids have already split or got tears in them and thats not even after 6 months of useage.

I bought these to replace the 10+ year set I had because the lids were starting to fall apart but after 10 years I figure I got my moneys worth. On the old ones the lids fit tight enough to be water proof. They also were made of a fairly thick plastic/rubber material that was meant to last. The new ones fit so loose just a flip of your finger against the lid is enough to make it pop off. There is no way these can be water proof. They are also made of a cheap thin plastic that I would not expect to last very long. I guess in my situation it doesn't matter how long it's going to last because I'm taking them right back to the store. I definitely do not recommend these. They are not the quality product they once were. You would be better off buying some of the cheap ... MoreI bought these to replace the 10+ year set I had because the lids were starting to fall apart but after 10 years I figure I got my moneys worth. Had ours over 12 months. Bought lots of sizes. Perfect for lunches and keeping leftovers in fridge. Bought mix bowls with lids too perfect for making bread. Wash lids top rack of dishwasher and lids do not go in microwave. The rectangle shapes store so well in cupboards and fridge too! Buying more! Waiting for next sale on them.
I wanted glass dishes for my meal prep and have trusted the Pyrex brand for years. I was amazed to find a set of 6 perfectly sized glass dishes with lids for this price!! These can store a standard size portion of protein, starch and veggie conveniently. They are not too heavy; I usually carry 3-5 meals plus fruits and yogurt for mini meals in between and I am a petite girl. Would highly recommend!Only drawback is that you should be careful with tilting these as the lids do not provide a leak proof seal. Since this size and shape is perfect for my lunch carrier it isn't much of an issue for me.
I ordered 28 of this to use for freezing food and they stack very nicely wasting less space than circle shape containers when stored. Also unlike the plastic containers, these pyrex glass containers are a winner when it comes to washing the grease of them! very easy to clean oily, greasy residue with the dish detergent. Only complaint I have about this product is the lid. They fit very loosely that I have to be careful not to lift the containers by only grabbing the lid part. Also the quality of the lid is cheap plastic material. If the company improves the quality and the size of the lid, I will buy more of this product.
I made my purchase back in Jan 2021, a bit over two months of ownership the lids feel loose and all 3 units came from factory with twisted lids. I own other pyrex models and never had this issue at all. Pretty upset the quality issue on my 3 units. Did have a couple of spills in my lunch bag before. I usually use these for my weekly work meal preps. Read the reviews about the lids, wanted to give them the bemlnefit of the doubt but came short on the quality.
I was hesitant to buy this "6 piece" set for $24, because I was worried that it meant 3 glass containers and 3 lids. Sooo many containers are advertised that way! But I bought them, and sure enough there are 6 containers and 6 lids. Great bargain!I bought these because I hope to make my own "lean cuisine" type meals and store them in these. I saw a youtube video on that topic, and if I go to the trouble to make healthier frozen meals like that, I darn sure don't want to put them in plastic containers just for chemicals to leach into my food when I heat them up. I know people have complained about these lids being a little loose, however, that is not really a concern for me because I would never put things like soup in these (I have pyrex bowls which have lids that ... MoreI was hesitant to buy this "6 piece" set for $24, because I was worried that it meant 3 glass containers and 3 lids. I know people have complained about these lids being a little loose, however, that is not really a concern for me because I would never put things like soup in these (I have pyrex bowls which have lids that work fine for that). Aside from using these for frozen entrees, I plan to put leftovers like meat loaf, spaghetti, etc (ie. things that aren't very runny). Also, I'm not worried about my "lean cuisine" meals drying out in these because the video I saw recommended using saran wrap to push down on top of the food and then the lid can go over that. If I do experience problems or dried out entrees, I will update this review.I've been purging all of our rubbermaid stuff over the past few months and replaced them with Pyrex bowls, and now these rectangular containers. I have been VERY happy with all of the Pyrex containers I've bought so far, which includes a lot of bowls (4 seven cup, 5 four cup bowls, 6 two cup, and 8 one cup bowls, plus these 3 cup rectangular ones). Bye-bye plasticware!
The container is great for foods that can't leak. The description says airtight but that's not true. Day one the container leaked inside of my bag and created a huge mess. Customer service basically said "it's your fault for buying this, it isn't leak proof or airtight". The description literally says airtight. Requested a refund and haven't even heard back from customer service a week later. This experience has all but guaranteed that I'll stay away from Corelle brands in the future. Hopefully others have better experiences!
