Now Arya is the fussiest of fussy cats and also suffers frequently from urinary infections. She is not a fan of wet food. Day 1 I opened the packet and she absolutely cleared her plate. Yes a winner I thought, Day 2 we did the same and this time, whilst still keen she only ate half the packet, so on Day 3 I only gave her half, she sniffed and turned her furry little nose up at it. So Day 4 I waited until she was really hungry (not just cat hungry) and Yes back in the game, a bit of sniffing and then a bit of licking. We are now at eating half a packet a day just before dry food dinner and it seems to be working.

My cat seems to hardly ever drink very much from her water bowl but with this Hydra supplement she lapped it all up and appeared to really enjoy it. I was slightly worried whether it would give her diarrhea which is difficult as she is long-haired but no, that did not happen. I would guess that with this supplement her liquid intake must be good and normal.

My cat has a lot of urinary issues particularly with struvite crystals forming. He doesn’t drink water and it can be difficult to get fluid into his diet. He absolutely loved Hydra care and couldn’t wait to get started. Despite the recent hot weather we have had lots of tinkles and he asks for his Hydra care treat. Good consistency and smell, great product for any cats diet.

I was hopeful for this Hydration suppliment as my cat never seems to drink anything. He pees fine in his litter box, but I have liteally never seen him at his water fountain - maybe he only drinks at night?Anyway, I popped a bowl of this in front of him, and after a few 'I am so fussy' sniffs, he began to lap at it. Next morning it was all gone. As this weather is rather hot I thought it was a perfect time to try it as well. Sadly the second day he left about 3rd of it, and by the 3rd and 4th tries he was not that interested, despite me moving it to right next to his food (dry and wet tried) so he couldn't miss it.Not sure why he seemed to like it initially and like another review changed his mind... but now he is not interested at all sadly.I will keep trying ... MoreI was hopeful for this Hydration suppliment as my cat never seems to drink anything. Sammy cat is over 14 now and very fussy often either nor wanting food or leaving loads in the bowl. This time however he sniffed the box and as soon as I poured the juices into his bowl he started licking it. Everything vanished in second and he was begging for more. He simply loved it! I haven't seen him eating like this in a very long time.
My cat does not drink water, very rarely he will drink cat milk. This always worries me as I constantly think he is not hydrated enough. I was so delighted to see their was an option to improve Olafs hydration, so I applied for this trial to see if Olaf would eat this supplement. Much to my delight I gave him his first sachet and he lapped it up, I now give him a sachet every morning and every evening. I am assured he is being hydrated and this will have an impact on his general health. I will certainly be buying this product after the trial and it will become part of his regular routine. My cat did like it whenever I freshly put it in his bowl, however he would then leave it and wouldn’t touch it again after he had lapped up a few mouthfuls .It’s a great idea for cats who don’t drink enough - mine is one of these. I think if there had been some textured pieces, my cat would have come back for more. Overall it did encourage more fluid intake, but once my cat was bored it just sat there until I emptied the bowl.
I give this to my outdoor cat when she may be at risk from dehydration. I always supply water, but if it is really hot or freezing, I don't want her to be looking for a drink and consuming something nasty in desperation. She always likes foods with lots of gravy,and has a(high quality!)mixed diet of dry and wet foods. She absolutely loves this&I know that if she's ever off her food(highly unlikely, as she was a rescue that was starved!)she will be able to lap this easily and get some nutrition from it! Product arrived promptly and packaged well.
I have two cats and my older 13 years old never liked to drink . I got so excited and hopeful maybe this product will change his mind but unfortunately he only liked it 2-3 times and he never came back to it. Oh well, next day we tried again and he just turned his nose away and left again. My younger cat love to drink and he won’t even went near it.All in all this product is not for my cats unfortunately.
Hi. I have received this product as a part of Insiders campaign to test and review. I thought it is very good idea, especially in the summer, to help keep your cat hydrated . However my cat was very confused about this . When I was pouring it out of the packet ,he seems interested and he was licking it, but once it was in the bowl he was just looking at me confused, like he was saying "where the meat it "? . I have tried many times make him eat it,as I know that it is good for him ,but he just wouldn't eat it. So for me is a no,because my cat just won't eat it.
