These treats are an excellent way to support your cat's oral health, and I am impressed with their advanced formula. The treats are made with high-quality ingredients that work to reduce tartar buildup and promote healthy gums and teeth. What's more, these treats come in a unique, crunchy texture that helps to clean your cat's teeth as they chew, making them an effective way to promote fresh breath. I appreciate that the treats come in different flavors, so you can find one that your cat will love. Overall, I highly recommend Purina Dentalife Advanced Care Treats to all cat owners who want to keep their feline's teeth and gums in excellent condition.

I got these for my cats because they LOVE chicken flavored treats and I like to get them dental treats since they’re older boys and can never do too much for those toofies. They’ll eat most any treat, but my picky cat LOVES these. He gets them on his walks so he always looks forward to them. At home, I like that they have a round shape so they roll well and the cats will chase after them and bath them around til they eat them. I’ll definitely keep getting them.

I decided to give these to my senior cat after the vet found quite a lot of tartar on her teeth, we are currently having to give her quite a limited diet due to other health issues so that is some of the reason for the build up. I decided to search for a fish based dental treat (due to diet restrictions) and decided to give these a go - she really likes these, but they are quite large and sometimes she takes a while to get them in her mouth and a while before she can crunch them. She had a couple of teeth out a couple of years ago as she broke some (we have no idea how) so that could partly be the reason. I would love these to be about half the size and a round shape so that she could eat them more easily and pick them up. So far, I have had to bash the bag with a ... So far, I have had to bash the bag with a rolling pin so that she can eat them in smaller pieces as they are too hard to break by hand! I would love Purina to come up with a version for senior cats so that they can eat them more easily. We shall finish the bag, but I thin that I might have to try another brand where I can break the treats into smaller pieces.

Cats love these treats. They enjoy chasing them as they roll down the hallway. But the bag is a poor container as numerous treats get crushed or broken during shipment. Wish they would go back to the sturdy large tub, virtually no waste and it would get a 5 star rating. Recommended only when purchased in a brick and mortar store so the package can be inspected, or if crushed treats are OK with you.
Our vet noticed some plaque on our cat's teeth, but being 21 years old none of us want to risk an anesthetic for a clean. I got these on the off chance they would work, and knowing Purina is a decent brand, so wouldn't just be full of rubbish! My cat can be picky with treats, and rarely chews her dreamies. But she loves these! The smaller ones sometimes go down whole, but she crunches up the big ones. I've seem comments to suggest they should be smaller, but personally I think the bigger sized chunks are perfect, at least for our petite cat.I don't give as many a day as recommended on the packet (I think it's 17, which seems a lot!). But she is a very small cat and has a habit of not eating her dinner if she's full of treats. I give about 8 a day, for what's been ... But she is a very small cat and has a habit of not eating her dinner if she's full of treats. I give about 8 a day, for what's been a couple of weeks now. She would often have noticeable 'meaty' breath before, but myself and my partner genuinely think they have helped with that, as it's less noticeable now. It might just be our imaginations, but for the price and the amount she enjoys them, I'm happy either way. Ordering some more now!
My Toby HATES getting her teeth brushed. Absolutely hates it. But like most cats, I have no problem whatsoever getting her to eat her cat treats. When I heard about new Purina Dentalife treats for cats, I knew these were something we just had to try! A tooth cleaner disguised in a treat is a great way for me to help keep my Toby happier and healthier, with a lot less stress for both of us than brushing her teeth would be. I know to be effective they must be crunchy and porous, but Toby has a hard time getting these treats down because of the size and shape. She will struggle with them a bit, first trying to crunch through it a few times, then spitting it out and picking it back up again, repeating those things until she either gets it swallowed or I take it away and cut it in half. When I see her like this, I get so worried she might choke on them! She doesn't have trouble with non-dental treats so I'm thinking the issue is related to the extremely crunchy texture and unique size required for teeth cleaning.Overall though, these are a great innovation in the cat treat world! I am always looking for ways to pamper my Toby cat, and seeing that with this option I can treat her while also look out for her health and overall well-being, these treats are a win in my book! She loves the tasty chicken flavor; I love the teeth cleaning power!
The new Dentalife daily oral care treats product by Purina is amazing! My cat is very fussy and for that reason I call her prima-donna. She has her standards and oh boy, they are high! The moment she saw the packet, she was all over it and oh dear, she not only approved the product, but she actually liked it! She kept asking for more and constantly looking in the corner where I placed the packet. You are supposed to give your cat 17 treats per day which I found a bit too excessive, so I'm giving my cat 8 treats in the morning and 8 in the evening. It’s good to know she is having a treat and also keeping her teeth healthy. These treats seem to work well as my cat’s build-up of tartar disappeared. I started to use this product after being told by a vet that my cat had tartar built-up on her teeth. We had our first vet’s appointment after my cat started to use the product and the vet complimented the condition of my 9-year old cat!
The price of these treats has skyrocketed to over $10 a bag in some places. It's nice to get more than the large container for a third of the price of others.I'm so happy we found them because my normal vendors are out of stock almost every time I need to order now.Fast shipping, condensed shipping packaging to reduce costs and incredible prices. We will definitely be buying more of these treats.
No point buying a small pacK for my two. They love this and it's said to be good for them. Plus the kats are indoor ones due to traffice and this cheers them up as a treat when they get bored. But I don't give as much as it says on the packet each day. It must have a cumulative effect. They like a few Dreamies too.
My vet suggested brushing my cats teeth and while my cat has no problem with that I purchased these as an added protection. He has a fussy stomach so I can only give him 6 biscuits a day. They really do the trick. Well worth giving to your cat for healthy teeth and fresh breath.
