This product came in supper supper handy in the potty training process of the terrible two's. I definitely recommend this for anybody struggling with potty training. It comes in five or six different colors. I found it most handy in the middle of the night when my little boy had to potty. He didn't have to wake me up to go potty he could just get up and go. No hassle.

My son was always scared to go in the bigger toilet and buying him this potty chair has made all the difference in his potty training journey. He now goes to this toilet whenever he has to use the bathroom and doesn’t have hardly any accidents and almost fully potty trained because he likes his own little toilet. I thought potty training was going to be so tough but this potty chair has made it so easy!

This portable potty has been such a blessing during the potty training process of my 3 year old. It is the perfect size and the design of it ensures that everything stays inside the bowl to keep any accidents or messes at bay. I’m so grateful we found this!!

A Great start to potty training!

We've been getting my 2 years old daughter excited about her new potty before it arrived..so she was over the moon when it was delivered to our front door a few days into the New Year. The potty seat only needed the base to be clicked on and it's ready for use. We were admiring it so much together that she did a #2 in her diaper, while still inspecting it! Haha! I guess I should have talked less and read her signs sooner. Oh well! The next few days was such ease for her..she loves using her potty seat as we made it fun for her to sit on it..(similar to her ol' bumbo seat) and did lots of encouragement whenever she did a little one or a few BIG ones! It was easy for her to learn to pick up the pan herself and help to empty it in the toilet (with supervision..of course!)Getting in and out for her wasn't too much trouble..and the seat is super comfortable to sit on as she reads a potty book to keep her company. It was worth the extra dollars spent as I want that little bottom treated with care and comfort as if it was your own.Overall, it's making our household very happy as we only have 1 bathroom in the house..and you shouldn't rush Daddy.Good Luck out there!

Comfortable
26 August 2012

I noticed that my son's first potty (fisher price cheer for me) seemed very uncomfortable to sit on, and he pretty much refused to potty train. Most other pottys seem to have the same seat size, so I figured the step stool and kid toilet seat was the way to go, but he has been stubborn with training on that too. My son is 3yo, 44lbs--95 percentile for his height (tall and stout), so I needed to get something comfortable. My husband picked this for it's looks, but I immdiately declined when I saw the price. After doing more research, I came right back to this! It is soft and comfy and he does not fuss to sit on it. I think it's worth the price because he actually uses it. 4 out of 5 stars because the piece on the bottom (height adjustment) does not stay on.

Comfy Potty chair
27 March 2012

It seems like this will be a great potty chair. My daughter loves to sit in it but we haven't started potty training yet. I wanted to get a chair early so she could get used to it and she seems to really like it. I like that it gets taller for when she gets bigger but right now it is the perfect height for her and she is 31 in. tall. It is very easy to clean you just lift off the bowl dump it out and wash and its ready to use for the next time. The only thing I don't really like is that the bowl does not lock in so my daughter can lift it out by herself which could be a problem later.

Effective but expensive
26 November 2022

I have tried so many products over the years for my KP and this is the one I keep going back to. This is because it actually works. Keep in mind it is a treatment not a cure, so you need to continue using it to maintain smooth skin and reduce redness. It works best in conjunction with the KP duty scrub. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the expensive price tag. However, I will probably continue to use it unless I find something that is as effective for my KP

I absolutely love this potty!
3 October 2010

I actually bought this potty on amazon.com, after weeks of searching and debating, trying to find the right one for my son. He was showing the 'signs' early, and we were all eager to step into the potty training world. But, I wanted to teach him that potty time is not play time, and most potties don't allow for that because they make noises, play songs, etc. Plus, most of the other potties I came across didn't look at all comfortable, and I wanted my son to have the best experience possible in this area - to make it as EASY as possible for all of us involved. It took a while, but I finally came across the pottyPOD. Still I couldn't decide, though, because it's a pretty steep price for such a simple thing. I finally bought it, and I don't regret the choice one bit. ... MoreI actually bought this potty on amazon.com, after weeks of searching and debating, trying to find the right one for my son. It took a while, but I finally came across the pottyPOD. Still I couldn't decide, though, because it's a pretty steep price for such a simple thing. I finally bought it, and I don't regret the choice one bit. While I do wish the price was lower, I can tell you it was well worth the money. My son went in it the first time we tried it, and was doing solids by the fourth day (at 18 months old). He loves it, he's comfortable on it, and most importantly, he understands what he's supposed to do on it. It's easy to clean, the guard is larger than most, yet flexible so it doesn't hurt him if he has trouble sitting down. And that is the only problem I've found with this product - it's a little wide, and it took my son a little while to understand how to sit on it. Other than that, it's wonderful. I'd recommend it with high praise, and am now looking into buying the weePOD as well.

Perfect for litle boys!

Env: developmentAfter taking my son to the store to pick out a potty, I quickly noticed a trend. While there were several potties that he would have happily brought home (ones that played music or looked like a race car were popular with him), I refused to purchase them for 2 reasons; 1) he seemed to struggle to sit down onto them, as in they were too low for his height and 2) the little pee guards were no where near the place they needed to be in keeping a little boy's stream directed into the potty while sitting down. After much investigation and reading a lot of reviews, I came across the Prince Lionheart PottyPOD, and it has been absolutely FABULOUS! Best of all, my son actually uses the potty, and WANTS to sit on it! The only downside I had on this was the price, but in the end, I hear of people going through 3 or 4 training potties before hitting upon "the one", so I think this was money well spent to have nailed it on the first try.Env: development

Sits low to the ground
29 September 2014

This is our "secondary" potty that we leave in the car for emergencies. We are almost done with toilet training now but we used this one as our back up travel model. This one has some advantages over our Primary model.Easier to clean for sure. Only two parts to it and both go in the dishwasher.Hard to accidentally tip over, very stable.Hard to accidentally urinate outside the bowl. But this one was our travel toilet because our boy was just really big and this one sat so low to the ground. Also it wasn't shaped like a real toilet and our other one was and I thought that might delay his transition to a regular potty chair. We really liked having this one though. I recommend always having two chairs if you travel frequently or your kids go to get babysat ... MoreThis is our "secondary" potty that we leave in the car for emergencies.
