One of the things advertised about this speaker was the DSP and the function that recognizes the Presonus top speaker (as long as it is in the AIR series). My whole ban watched the promo vids and when we made the purchase, the function was no where to be found.Sound is ok.Very lightweight for a sub (maybe due to missing functions? lol)Wheels are a nice touch.
I tested these against the QSC k.2 10, and I prefer the Presonus AIR 10's. PROAUDIOSTAR, shipped them immediately and the open box items are flawless. Highly recommend!
I was using all K12's before getting the Air 10's. They blew me away with the sound quality and lightweight. I put them up side by side against my K10's, every bit as good, if not better! Loving my Presonus Air10's!!!
I work at a music shop and we got these in about a year ago. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality and how lightweight they were so i decided to give them a shot. I bought 4 of these. Well... here we are a year later. They worked great the first 8 months and every single speaker has had to be shipped back to the repair shop in Louisiana because of faulty wiring and over heating. I'll stick with my QSC k10s from now on.
Bought this Air15s during COVID to pair with my aging (9 year old) Behringer 215D tops. I've worked with subs long ago and know how it fills out the soundstage but this thing instantly changed how I've been hearing my PA setup in my rehearsal space (vdrums and listening to Spotify). An absolute "I can't believe I didn't buy this years ago" feeling.Got a GREAT sale price from Sweetwater when Presonus was trying to move products during the sheltering in place.I played all the usuals including EV, JBL, Turbosound and QSC at the local music store. Clearly Presonus isn't spending the marketing dollars and promoting these through the retailers like the other brands. But it's also been rough on pro audio vendors I bet without having tradeshows to attend and large event venues buying these things 8-10 in a bunch. The build quality on this sub (without having removed the grille and pulling the speaker) appears solid and you'd think commands a $$$$ price. Honestly folks.This has convinced me to now consider buying Air12 tops to retire my Behringers to become floor monitors…
Works Great. I have a set of air 10's and the DSP recognizes them perfectly, don't know what the other guy was talking about.
I replaced some older heavy powered 15 inch subs with these and they sound way better! I'm blown away with 2 of these subs side by side. You can really feel the low end when you take time to set them up properly. I've been using these in an outdoor bar-stage area, with DJs and bands. I've gotten so many compliments on the sound of these and the AIR12 tops. Don't waste your money on the "IN" brands. Give these AIR speakers a chance and I promise you will be pleasantly surprised! They really sound great for the money.
