Prada Amber Eau De Parfum Spray by Prada - 80 ml

I love this perfume and I wish it had more staying power on me. I'm 50 years old. I don't want something simple, powdery and sweet. I don't want to smell like a young girl. I don't want to smell like an old lady. This perfume is one of my top 5 favorites of all time (the others are Hermes: Jardin du Nile, Narcisco Rodgriguez for Her, and Cloe': Nomade, and Givenchy: Dahlia Divin). I love this so much. It just doesn't last on my skin. It's well named, the amber is so soothing, it smells like the olfactory representation of a precious jewel. I recommend it if your skin doesn't eat up scent easily.

As a 22 year old reviewing a 17 year old cologne I gotta say that this scent has some timeless qualities to it! there is a note in this cologne that makes it a bit overpowering when first sprayed, however the dry down definitely smoothens out. If you’re getting into the fragrance game I would go for something different/ newer but definitely give this a smell! This fragrance will last 8-12 hours on skin

Sophisticated scent. Dries down on me nicely to a sweet chocolate amber. Beautiful bottle to have on the nightstand. Very classic and has complexity. Not as forward-smelling as angel. I don’t find it too strong, but you don’t need to overdo it. If you are looking for a fall / winter sweater weather or evening scent, try this one. Probably not for everyone and it’s an investment for the price but it is one of the timeless classics and a perfume aficionado probably knows how it smells just by hearing its name.

This is a very unique scent, it's an amber fresh scent released in 2006. The top notes include mandarin orange, neroli, cardamom and bergamot. The middle adds floral notes of vetiver, orange blossom and geranium. The base leaves a subtle trace of labdanum, leather and saffron. It's very long lasting with a spicy dry down, definitely a classic on my opinion.

Love Love Love

I am quite selective in choosing a perfume, even more so in selecting a perfume to wear daily. I like diversity. Prada Amber is and always has been my "go to" perfume, from Day One! I have a perfume collection, with 2 that I consider "go to" scents! However, Prada Amber soars above the rest! I Love It!!! I can be anywhere in the world, and I, literally, will be complimented endlessly! Interestingly, the compliments are from handsome men, fashionable women, varying ages, from all walks of life. It's amazing, or is it? Prada's Amber is a mesmerizing, alluring, sexy perfume!!! Of Course, compliments abound!!!! Most of all, I Love It!!!!!!!

My favourite ever perfume

I keep coming back to this delicious, sexy perfume. What is extraordinary is how long the fragrance lasts and how many compliments I get when i wear it. I love Allure Chanel and Narsisco Rodriguez' classic Eau de Parfum - which is another sultry lovely perfume - but this Prada Amber is deeper, more luxurious and less well-known.My concern is that it is now quite hard to find as Prada seem to be focussing on all these new fragrance launches - and I pray it doesn't get elbowed out. This original fragrance is vastly superior.

Not for me: too much going on.

I am a fan of Prada l’eau ambree (not made anymore), and many of the Prada infusions scents (iris, amande, and orange). I have searched for a tester of this scent to try, with no luck. I was delighted when Nordstrom’s let me order it to be shipped to my home to sample, with the assurance I could return it if it didn’t suit.It was packed well, thank goodness, because it was dragged through a river apparently. It was so wet, the Prada box was soaked inside the cellophane! The bottle was intact, and is a beautiful sleek container with a luxurious heft.Scent is personal, though.I sprayed it, and it is a cacophony of stink. Really. There is so much going on in here. It doesn’t feel complex, it feels overdone.Also, I learned that the scents I do love were created by Daniela Andrier, and was able to discover another one of hers to try, as well as a lovely one by Hermès (eau de merveilles) with a similar feel.In fantastic news: Nordstrom’s return policy is fabulous, and I was able to return it with no problems.

The Best Perfume for 19+ years!

I have been wearing this perfume since 2004. I have tried others and always come back to this perfume. I love how feminine the scent is and always receive compliments where ever I go. It’s perfect for day or evening. I love love Prada Amber!❤️

Very strong and heady

This is very woody and strong. At first spray it is very overpowering but after 10 minutes it settles down a bit to become more powdery. It's quite masculine but also warm. It settles down to become quite subtle. More for autumn or winter. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I don't really like strong scents but this has something unusual about it that I like. I think it's the type of perfume I'd smell on someone else and really like but on me it doesn't smell as good. It makes a nice change from all the sweet, sickly identikit floriental scents around nowadays.
