HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THESE TYPES:- If you're on a tight budget or have a small space.- If you want something bigger than a plastic pool but don't want to get into pumps and chlorine.- Grandparents with young kids coming in for a visit (unless they have a big pool at home...)- Family with young kids, especially if you don't want to worry about them in deeper water. If your toddlers/preschoolers like the public wading pool, they will LOVE this in their backyard.NOT RECOMMENDED FOR:- Older kids/teens unless space/budget are concerns.- Anyone willing to invest some $ and deal with pumps & chlorine in exchange for room to actually "swim".-Whiners - Be realistic, you get what you get here.I have bought a number of these over the years. For the price, this is an easy and cheap way to entertain the kiddos. I have 4 kids and at 8ft in diameter, it's worked well enough up to age 11, including friends, especially if you combine with a slip and slide or other fun. It's big enough for one large float or a couple small ones. Most of the time we've gotten 2 summers' use out of it (with repairs).TIPS:1. It's cheap - the sides WILL crack (usually an inch or two long). I likely could have returned this many times on the 1-yr warranty but given the price and endless hours the kids get out of it, that just makes me a cheapskate.2. BUY A ROLL OF RED "TUCK TAPE", used for sealing vapour barrier, at the same time. (Not sure if CT carries, I get mine at the hardware store.) It's waterproof and if you put it over cracks inside and out when the pool is dry, it seals the leaks like a dream.3. I have never had level ground to set this up on. As such, I always have one side that rolls over. I prop the perimeter of the pool up with cement blocks or logs to keep it upright. These double as steps to assist the littler kids getting in.4. This is about as big as you can go without getting into pumps and water treatment. We leave it up for a few days at a time but you can periodically add a bit of bleach at the end of the day to keep the water from getting too gross. We use a large fish tank net to skim out the bugs and grass.5. Train your kids to be careful of bending the sides - this is what causes the cracks. They need to step or lean OVER, not ON the sides. Be careful to fold the whole side down when emptying it to avoid cracking. All in all, these pools have met our needs for a lot of years and provided countless hours of fun.

The size of this pool is great...perfect for what we wanted for our grandchildren... but it was difficult to put up as it was rolled so tightly in the box that the sides kept some of that warped shape and if you don’t have two people to hold the sides up they collapse and let the water out as you are trying to fill it. Be prepared to stand there a long time! Ours also leaked out of a seam the first time we tried to fill it and emptied the pool after we stepped away from it. Sooo disappointing!!! Hopefully that wouldn’t happen to everyone!

Good swimming pool. Good size too. Kids love it. Water keeps it in shape so no inflation necessary. Quick delivery and good packaging too. Would recommend. Thank you.

The side will crack crack fairly easy. Looks really nice filled up though and lots of fun for the kids but if something hits the side with some force it will break. I tossed a squirt gun towards the pool meaning to throw it in but got the side and it broke. Also if kids and constantly climbing over the side folding the sides it will crack. Had it for a month.
Same thing happened to me today. Set up the pool and the kids got in it once and now there’s a huge 3” hole along the bottom seam! Total junk! Don’t buy... I wish I had read these reviews before I had purchased this. And I agree with the previous posted, these pools aren’t made like when we were kids!
I bought this for my mom's place so my toddler could splash around during the summer when visiting. It's easy to set up and roll up, though can be a little flimsy. It's a great size, my husband and I were both able to sit in it with a couple of young kids splashing around us. I'd have rated it about a 4, except tonight I noticed the water was getting pretty low. I assumed the kids were splashing it all out, but then after dumping it and starting to roll it up, I noticed a hole along where the bottom and side meet. It isn't like it was getting misused, so I was pretty surprised. Thankfully Canadian Tire returned it no problem for me! I'll have to stick with just a plastic kiddy pool for now, I guess...!So overall,Pros: Holds a good amount of water, it's pretty ... MoreI bought this for my mom's place so my toddler could splash around during the summer when visiting. Hopefully others have better luck, though. It's a neat pool!
Would have been a good deal for the money...if the thing worked properly! First off, straight out of the box the thing is all rolled up so you must unroll and sort of flatten out the bends in the siding. Ok, no big deal. Then you set it up in the shape it should roughly be (a large circle), done. Add water. Sounds simple, except...the sides DO NOT stay up. I would have needed minimum 4 other people to hold the sides up while it filled with water. Secondly all the water went to one side. My backyard is NOT lopsided or uneven (I even checked with a level!!) yet all the water made its way to one side. Even after "propping" up the side that was taking all the water the pool still sagged and drooped. So the final product was water to the brim on one side, water barely ... MoreWould have been a good deal for the money...if the thing worked properly! So the final product was water to the brim on one side, water barely halfway on the opposite side, three different sides sagging to the point where they touch the water so water leaks out. And all this before one single kid stepped foot in it...no thank you...returning this afternoon. YUCK!!
I bought this a month ago for my three little girls and I am happy with my purchase! I cant keep flatable pools due to raccoons visiting my back yard so this works perfectly, they arent able to pop it.The walls do come up and down so water has the tendency to leak out but then again what can you expect from the material its made from. But it gets the job done on a hot day so no complaints done
I had a similar pool that lasted 7 years of frequent use. This pool lasted 7 seconds! As I was filling it the first time it split an 8" hole where the floor meets the wall -- the plastic weld failed. Then, after emptying and letting it dry out, the side wall split vertically from bottom to top! Clearly that weld was bad too. This is a piece of junk and now I'm stuck with a pile of trash because it's pretty much impossible to return things with Covid19 happening. DO NOT BUY.
Tried to set up the pool. Walls wont stay up and continue to curl. Started to fill pool to hold walls up. There was a tear in the seam. Emptied the pool and returned it. By the way did this all in the exact same day. When I went to return it (with a receipt and the box) I was told no refund but exchange only....that is nonsense. So I purchased other items as the pool I wanted to get in place of this one was not in stock at this store. I did have a very helpful clerk who recommended another model. Went to the other store and have just set it up (inflatable 8.5x5.5). It is perfect for my two kids (aged 5 and 7) They have filled with toys, and have been "diving" for rings. Don't bother with this one.
