Everything about this headset is brilliant apart from the battery life. it only lasts about 2-3 hours. i dont know much about the onboard games because I usually just stream from my pc but the visuals are great and the comfort is on another level

For me this is the perfect VR headset. It feels lighter and more comfortable than other options like the Quest. Some features feel less developed than the Quest but it's constantly closing the gap. The only real downside is the relative lack of content compared to Quest (that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5). Overall, highly recommended.

The Pico will get better over time. If you want to play tethered PCVR games (I like Elite Dangerous) then forget tethering. It just doesn't work. There is a Pico utility like Virtual Desktop that you can use a fast USB 3.1 cable but it chops the graphics down so much that it makes Elite Dangerous look like you're using a Gen 1 headset. I'm sure they will fix this in updates yet to come but for now PC Tethering is not an option. The other option is to use wireless and virtual desktop. That actually works ok. But if you don't have a Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax router then forget it. Virtual desktop will work fine but gaming will be out if you want see the power of the graphics. It integrates with Steam and Steam VR and the hand controllers are good. You will need a beefy video ... MoreThe Pico will get better over time. It integrates with Steam and Steam VR and the hand controllers are good. You will need a beefy video card in your computer. I use an RTX 2080 presently but am saving to move to a 4070TI. The Pico Store does not have many titles. There is Creed boxing and some other games but not much you can download natively. There is no Netflix or Amazon available in the store or any YouTube app. You can download a Netflix APK and side load it which I did and it works fine but Amazon no. YouTube you can watch but it has to be through a browser. To get around all of that, just use virtual desktop and get those apps from your PC. Video streaming over Virtual desktop works great. Lastly, be prepared to do some tweaking of settings. There are plenty of YouTube videos on the subject. There is no 3.5 jack for external headphones which is a mystery as to why not? So you would have to use Bluetooth earbuds. The headset has Bluetooth but I haven't tried it. However in saying that, I don't have a problem with the built in Audio. It is a little quite for me but it does the job. Not great, but good. The battery is much the same as the Quest 2 at about 2 hours' worth. But I bought a BoBo battery upgrade from Amazon which gives me 4 hours untethered battery life and comes with a charger and 2 external batteries that clip to the head strap. It really is awesome. The hand controllers take AA batteries and last by all accounts 80+ hours. I haven't changed mine yet and still going strong. It is comfortable and light on you head. Has a little fan that blows air over the lenses to stop fogging but it seems to have a mind of its own as to when it kicks in. but it is a nice feature. Also the front camera see through option is good too. Full colour just by double tapping the side of the headset. Better than the Quest 2 there. The build quality is pretty awesome. Feels way better than the Quest 2 and the adjustable head strap is fantastic. I am confident, that after a few updates, this will outshine the quest 2 but for now, the quest 2 has the edge from an overall perspective. If you own a quest 2 already, stay where you are and wait for Quest 3. It will save your investment in your apps because with the Pico, you will have to buy things like virtual desktop all over again from the Pico store. If you're new to VR, this is a great option or if you have had a quest 2 or other headset in the past, the Pico isn't a bad option. As I said, it will only get better.Overall I'm ok with the amount of money I spent on it and the overall outcome. I am not a VR newbie so I have some knowledge on how to get around any limitations. I have finally found my happy place with the Pico. The quest would have been easier to get there but the graphics are really quite better than the quest. So I'm happy for now.

Kudos to PBTech to introduce Pico 4 to NZ, no more aliexpress! The international version is confirmed.really well build, better than Quest2 IMO.come with Les Mills Body Combat (and also a few others) which is probably the one of reasons that I use the VR every day.
Just so You have to do a couple of extra steps too get to work in United States but that Being said Meta Quest should be very worried. This is what they should have put out by now as a Meta Quest 3The lenses are beautiful the video is gorgeous it’s lite on your head. Only thing I can find I don’t like is the controllers are little heavy after playing for awhile. Also I notice they seem too have less expensive games available. If you are tired of waiting for a reasonable priced quest 3 this is definitely the answer
