Philosophy Purity Made Simple Hydra-Essence with Coconut Water 200ml

This is a very good toner for cooler weather or if you have dry patches. It feels soothing and moisturizing, but not oily or greasy. It does have a sort of floral type scent that doesn't linger. It has not caused any breakouts or excessive oiliness. It does provide a base layer of moisture and after using it for a few weeks skin has a glow. It doesn't feel sticky or filmy and works well with other products.

Even though I’m combo-oily, I’m always looking to nurture and hydrate my skin rather than mattify and possibly put my skin into overdrive and make even more oils. I hit a dry patch in my pregnancy, and felt like my skin needed something to help with hydration - and this answered the call! It felt so good applying to my skin. Almost as if my skin was getting a drink of water. I fell in love, and to the point I kept using it once I got out of that dry patch and went back to my usual combo-oily self. I feel like I’m leaning more combo now rather than oily as I used to be because of this essence. It’s a must-have, especially as we head into the colder months now.

Creates a perfect canvas for moisturizer

I have been using this toner for about a year. I put a quarter size amount on my hand & wipe it on my face & neck each morning as my 1st step after cleansing with philosophy face wash. It makes my skin soft & hydrated without any oil. A perfect canvas for my moisturizer. Very happy with this product. I will continue to purchase. As a matter of fact I bought 2 bottles that will last me for a year!

Dry to more dry

Unfortunately, my 'go-to' facial product brand has been making a lot of changes to the line, most of which have not agreed with my skin.Need to find a replacement regimen so decided to try (a number of) Philosophy products.The Purity Made Simple 1-Step Cleanser was very drying to my skin. I couldn't tear the seal off this fast enough! I AM A HYDRATED QUEEN

I have dry skin and im 23 years old. Even though I have use moisturizer, I always felt like I was lacking the "youthful glow" because my skin always drinks up everything SO FAST.This product is life changing. The directions say to pat it onto your face, but I avoid touching my face with my hands as much as possible. So instead, I used a spray nozzle and attached it to the bottle. AND OMG I REALLY DID SOMETHING HERE GUYS. After I wash my face, and I let it air dry, I just spray this on my face and I look like I have that perfect glow. This glow is that girl that drinks a gallon of water a day, pays her taxes, goes to the gym, and gets promotions.You need this in your life. I wish I had discovered this in the winter since my skin is usually very dry.

I love Hydra-Essence!!

I purchased my first bottle of hydra-essence during Philosophy's black Friday sale....and it is absolutely amazing for my skin. I'm black with a chocolate complexion, with pretty good skin and this leaves my skin hydrated, moisturized and glowing!!! I use it after washing my face with Philosophy's one-step mattifying facial cleanser, which by the way is another amaaaazing product. I used to use witch hazel after my cleansing to help bring back the ph balance to my face and combat dryness....this hydra-essence is 1000 times better! It's 1000 times better than any toner I've used from the cosmetic counter or from the local drug store. I love this product! Purity Made Simple

It feels like no other product. Your skin soaks it up rather than sitting on top of your skin. I wanted to wait a few weeks to review to see how if it changed my skin. And boy, did it! I’m in my 60’s, have good skin, but it was a little dull. Two weeks in and it’s glowing. I love this product and would recommend to all ages-anyone who wants their skin to radiate.

Love This Toner! It's so Unique!

This is unlike any other toner I've ever used before. I've been a loyal philosophy customer since 2001 when I was in high school, and this hands down has to be one of my all time favorite products. This toner may be newer to the Purity Made Simple collection, but it was well worth the wait for an amazing toner. I have combo skin that's very sensitive, and I also have eczema; so it's so hard for me to find a good skincare routine. I've never had any reactions to Purity Made Simple. It's so gentle. This toner really does feel like a multivitamin for the skin. I actually looked in the mirror after applying the toner followed by the moisturizer, and my skin looked so dewy without feeling sticky. By far my favorite toner! Highly recommended!

WAY exceeded expectations!

I'm a (recovering) skincare maximalist who has spent the last 2 years finding the ideal products to narrow my formerly 8 step routine into a quick, effective, and still luxurious 3-5 steps MAX.I originally bought this to use with my morning vitamin C serum- instead, it's completely replaced BOTH steps. I feel like I use it like water, but I've barely reached the top of the label and it's been over a month.I will say I don't use it in my PM routine, simply because the 10% vitamin C is plenty effective for once daily use and I prefer to get different benefits out of my PM routine. Not sure if using it twice a day would cause irritation, but I doubt it- just seems like overkill for me.

Wow!

I got this for a steal at TJX and I'm so glad I bought 3 bottles! Even after just the first use I had amazingly supple skin the next morning. I tried it right after cleansing and didn't even put on moisturizer afterward just so I could see if there would be a difference and I was so pleasantly surprised at what it did! My pores even look smaller, I usually have visible pores/sebum on my nose but this made my nose look so soft, smooth and clear! My acne spots feel softened too, overall greatly improved the texture of my skin. I'm excited to see the long term results.
