Vivid, crisp images, from edge-to-edge A perfect all around display with stunning images that stretch from edge-to edge, made easy on the eyes, in a compact slim design. IPS displays use an advanced technology which gives you extra wide viewing angles of 178/178 degree, making it possible to view the display from almost any angle. Unlike standard TN panels, IPS displays gives you remarkably crisp images with vivid colors, making it ideal not only for Photos, movies and web browsing, but also for professional applications which demand color accuracy and consistent brightness at all times. With Full HD for crisp detail paired with high brightness, incredible contrast and realistic colors expect a true to life picture. The new Philips displays feature ultra-narrow borders which allow for minimal distractions and maximum viewing size. Especially suited for multi-display or tiling setup like gaming, graphic design and professional applications, the ultra-narrow border display gives you the feeling of using one large display.

Bought two monitors for lockdown working from home. I ordered them just before lockdown and arrived in good time even after Level 4 had started. Not too much to say about them other than the colours are bright and they do exactly what they say on the tin. Very quick and easy to set up - connect the stand, plug in HDMI/DisplayPort and power, switch on. Only minor complaint is that the stand in the box is very basic and isn't adjustable so they're both sitting on books and I can't adjust the viewing angle; but they have the standard mounting screws for use with a better stand.

I got a pair of these monitors when we were recalled back to the office but needed to keep a part-time home office. I was surprised by how light they were when installing them. It makes them a dream to move around on the floating arms we have. In normal use, they have decent brightness and colour for my needs. The big issue is that they seem to fail to go to sleep and we have to manually power them down when not actively in use. Otherwise, they keep cycling through a no-input/sleep/wake routine. It's not the end of the world, so I haven't tried to trouble-shoot this one.

Does the trick, easy to use menu settings, including a power save/low light option. It has a variety of connectors at the back. Also nice and light, the box will easily fit in the back of your car and move around the house. Good brand and doesn't feel "cheap". Saying that, it may not be too forgiving if you drop it, as there is not a large amount of extra body around the screen. I didn't try the small in-built speakers.

I bought this monitor over lock-down as I EEED it for study. It was a mistake. The picture is OK, but the blackpoint is rubbish. The backlighting is not even when then screen is white, and the black is not even when it is dark. The user interface is also very very early 2000's. Sleep mode doesn't exist and the monitor keeps restarting every minute or so. Sound is also tinny. Really a total let down to be honest When I spoke with the store manager at the Henderson store he was confrontational and inflexible. He said "what do you expect for this priced monitor" Also attempted multiple contacts with PBTech main office. No call back So now I am stuck with this monitor and a very bad taste in my mouth. Excellent monitor at an affordable price
4 January 2020

I bought this as a external monitor for my laptop. I used it mainly for document work (e.g. word processor, spreadsheet, email and slides) and not for gaming. My review will be based on my usage. For this price (~$150), the monitor is excellent and I strongly recommend it. It is big enough to display 3 columns of information on the email system for easy reading. The screen is non-reflective which is very comfortable on the eye especially on prolonged usage. I especially like the LowBlue mode which makes the screen looks paper-like. This further reduces the strain on the eye. It is also VESA compatible so I can use it with a monitor arm. This helps to free up space on the table and bring the monitor to eye level.

Monitor has great contrast and is very good for reading on. Really good for office work and some very useful default display options too. I specifically needed a "dumb" monitor for my work from home job and this works flawlessly.

Technological flaw of the manufacturer
7 July 2021

The screen has no front protection whatsoever. Therefore, you have to touch the LCD panel to adjust the angle of view of the monitor. At the same time, you can see how the edge of the panel easily bends under the fingers without any support. In my case, even a light touch of female fingers was enough for an edge crack to appear. Obvious, the damage was not my fault but the result of a technological flaw of the manufacturer. However, Service Center uses a pre-made response in order to avoid their responsibility and deny the warranty.
