This is the perfect solution to carry Zoom H8 field recorder with the X-Y mic

Case is fine, as long as you don't need the dividers

Received this with the DJI Pocket 2 creator combo with accessory kit. The case itself is good. Outside is firm, molded fabric. Seems like it will provide adequate protection for the contents under normal handling conditions. Fabric feels like it will have good abrasion resistance. Five little elastic pockets on the back of the rigid divider for SD cards and four elastic loops for cables or smaller, long items. Here's what's less than perfect: The DJI extension rod is really too long for this case unless you place it in there diagonally. You can do that, but you lose a lot of real estate into the resulting triangular sections. It's possible to squeeze the Pocket 2 in it's case with the Do-It-All handle installed into one of these sections; not ideal, but it does fit. Then you can put the wireless mic in the other, with a bunch of wasted space. I also bought a REVO smartphone bracket for the Pocket 2. By disassembling the bracket, I was able to get it into the case, but it's not a very pretty setup with the bracket lying on top of the extension rod.Now the big negative: The dividers are poorly designed and built. The short ones are not long enough to reach across the shortest dimension of the compartment opening. The two long ones will reach the length of the case. In theory, you could span about 2/3 across the short aspect and into the side of a long divider. However, the Velcro (which isn't really Velcro, but a very weak material that should operate on a similar principle, but doesn't), will not stick to the walls of the compartment or the sides of the other dividers very well at all. Press it down firmly and it will hold right up until you put any pressure against the divider; then it pops loose easily. If I really end up liking this layout, but keep fighting the attachment points, I might just make the dividers permanent with some flexible fabric adhesive to hold things where they need to be. I hate to do that, in the event that I might want to repurpose this case in the future. But it may be the only option for this case.

Good case for action cameras.

Great quality - but too large.
2 January 2020

Very solid case with many customizable compartments. Extremely spacious. Good quality. One drawback - it is too large. For carrying something small like DJI pocket, only half of the size is needed. Large size make it not as portable as I expect.

Nice Quality dji pocket 2 case, but in need of compartment improvement!
6 January 2022

Another awesome accessory for my photography adventures, but I am not a big fan of the compartments set option dividing method. The compartments dividing pieces at least for me don't seem to away in place very well to be able to accomplish their purpose.

Sadly, too small
18 February 2021

Seems like a sturdy case but I was immediately disappointed because tho it is the larger of the two PGYTECH cases for the Pocket, it is too small to accommodate the Pocket, it's accessories and especially does not fit (unless angled sideways making for even less room) the DJI extension rod. I'll have to find other methods of carrying around all the stuff connected with the Pocket.
