Petzl GriGri + Belay device grey/black - The perfect belay device for all climbers - the Petzl GriGri +! This belay device can be used with all single ropes (optimised for 8.9 to 10.5 mm diameter ropes) and is equipped with an assisted breaking function. This means that the device will pinch the rope and semi-automatically catch a fall, thereby taking some of the strain off of your braking hand. This not only reduces the grip strength required but also guarantees comfort whilst belaying. The handle on the GriGri + allows you to control the rope, which allows for smooth rappelling. Thanks to the stainless steel wear plate, the belay device is protected from wear and is extremely durable. Perfect for avid climbers! The fact that the Petzl GriGri + is suitable for beginners as well will be clear as soon as you read about all of its clever features! The device is equipped with an anti-panic function, which automatically stops the descent if you pull back too hard on the handle. In addition, climbers who often switch between top-rope belay and lead climbing belay can choose between two different kind of belay modes. To switch, there is a small plastic handle. This feature makes it much easier to play out slack whilst belaying a climber on lead.Regardless of whether you're a beginner who top ropes a lot or a more advanced climber, the Petzl GriGri + is an extremely well-designed belay device that is perfectly tailored to the needs of sport climbers.
