Beatrix has created some of the best-loved characters in children's literature Beatrix Potter was born in London in 1866. During her rather lonely childhood and later, as a young woman, she studied art and natural history. She acquired her love and knowledge of the countryside during family holidays, at first in Scotland and then in the Lake District. She started her career as children's author and illustrator in 1901 when she was thirty-five. In the years before the First World War, demand for her work was so great that she was publishing an average of two new stories a year. As she became financially independent, she was able to buy some land in the Lake District and in 1913, on her marriage to solicitor William Heelis, she moved to live there permanently. For the last thirty years of her life, writing and illustrating gave place to a second career as a sheep farmer and countryside conservationist. Her little books never lost their popularity however and today they sell in their millions, translated into numerous languages, and the pleasures of those timeless tales continue to be enjoyed by children all over the world.

This small set is really cute and was available at a super attractive price, so I had to purchase it as a gift for my dear friends’ newborn baby—I am a firm believer that it’s never too early (or too late, for that matter!) to gift people with books, even though that little one is just 3 months old and the books are designed for 1 to 3 year olds.Still, it will look cute in the baby’s room until she’s old enough, and then she’ll have access to her Peter Rabbit “first library” as soon as her parents deem her ready to handle her first real books!Ah, what beautiful memories that child will be able to create from the books she’ll get to discover throughout her new life! (It must be obvious by now that I absolutely love, or rather, adore, idolise, books and the stories ... MoreThis small set is really cute and was available at a super attractive price, so I had to purchase it as a gift for my dear friends’ newborn baby—I am a firm believer that it’s never too early (or too late, for that matter!) to gift people with books, even though that little one is just 3 months old and the books are designed for 1 to 3 year olds.Still, it will look cute in the baby’s room until she’s old enough, and then she’ll have access to her Peter Rabbit “first library” as soon as her parents deem her ready to handle her first real books!Ah, what beautiful memories that child will be able to create from the books she’ll get to discover throughout her new life! Beautiful books, they’re very cute and educational! They fit perfectly with a somewhat unintentional rabbit theme my partner and I have for my daughters nursery.

This is your generic set of toddler board books but with the Beatrix Potter characters intertwined. I quite like them and my kids love Beatrix Potter so that helps. Quite sturdy-they pass the toddler test as far as my 2 year old twins go.
A really nicely made little collection of books. In total there are 4 books. They all sit together in their own little box like a mini bookcase. Ideal for very young children. Also acts as a nice gift.
I bought these for a gift and these are a lot damaged with bite marks, dirty and torn pages! Plus it came with a 2 sticker when I paid a lot more than that. I should have just spent the extra to get them brand new.
Absolutely fantastic, brings back so many memories as a kid, now I'm 31 and brought it for my kid
Bought for my 18 month old niece, books are cardboard and small so she can bring them out and about with her, print is very big, each book focuses on a different heading : shapes, colors, numbers, animals. Beautiful illustrations keep her occupied in car but or buggy, but also great for interaction and development, as we can point and sound out different words
This book is a very small book and may not be ideal for newborns and infants who are starting to recognize shapes. I thought it will be of similar size to the same books we can purchase in other physical stores.
brought for my grandson, who is 19 months old as part of easter gift, he loves them, I simple world on each chunky page with a beautiful picture.
