I have used this for years in spark plugs boots to keep them from WELDING the boots to the spark plugs. Very important if you have headers because they seem to create more heat near the spark plugs. Water cooled engines run cooler that AIR cooled engines. This is why I ran out and ordered more. Awesome product.

I use "sparingly' on the tip (end) of my spark plug wire set and battery terminals to repel moisture and protect the electrical components against corrosion. In addition, it helps to keep dirt, water, and other elements out of other electrical connections (light bulb, blower motor %26 alternator connectors). If you're a beginner like myself, PLEASE watch You Tube video(s) on, "How To Properly Use Dielectric Grease On Spark Plug Wires", for better understanding and demonstration.

Those annoying children's toys that come with cheap batteries, use a dab of this on the internal contacts to prevent that damaging corrosion.

Easy to dispense. I use this to connect brass electrical fittings to stainless steel track on my garden railroad. This keeps corrosion from building up when I use electricity to power the tracks (especially since there are 2 types of metals being used)
1. After half hour looking in battery, electrical, grease sections, and checking with staff, I was about to give up and found it hanging with the glue products. So there is your first problem solved. But it does seem to do the job well. I bought a new battery and within two weeks I had white build up on negative terminal. I cleaned with hot water and bi-carb, dried and put this grease on, and two weeks later perfectly clean, so it does the job. Only 4 stars because you need to apply generous amount to block air to metal, but it is the tiniest of tubes. For $14 or so, I would expect at least double the size tube. No other size option.
First if you're reading this it means you probably don't know anything. If you're using Dielectric grease it is non-conductive. Put a little bit on the insulator of your spark plug but don't get it on the contacts it's only used to keep moisture away from the contacts. Remember it does not conduct electricity! I bought this tiny little tube because I rarely use it frankly any silicone grease will work but put a little bit on the insulator of your spark plug so the boot is sealed don't glop it in there
if you really need a small tube of grease. this is it. other wise get a regular size tube grease for a little more then this one. i needed it for my models trains. that's it. you can use it for very small lube jobs for toys or such. it works fine. but for around the house grease is grease. even try animal fat would work. but my trains are antique. so i want the best. just my opion
