I love the color and the size i try to leave it always in my car…so i can enjoy a hill whenever i stuppon one. I bought a surfskate from another brand that is for a more expert level and though i enjoy it i never feel comfortable in the hills….but with the penny surfskate its the excellent board to start surfskating. P.s. im from Mexico and streets are awful so you should consider Asap buying this board if you live there hehe.

I love it! I'm a beginner in surfskate and I feel really safe and have good sensations with this board and these trucks!Only critic I can do: the board is a bit slippery with certain shoes. Otherwise, pure fun and good value for price! :)

The turns are so smooth, if you’re a newbie like me, I suggest you tighten the track a little bit, because it’s really powerful. The wheels on the other hand, I kind of expected them to be a little smoother, like other longboards, I don’t know if it’s a brand thing or if it’s because this one is not actually a longboard, but it’s hardly a problem, you get used to the sound. Like I said it’s a beautiful board! So much fun.

From carving through parking lots to bombing hills at 35mph this board can do it all. I’ve had this board for almost a year now and have loved every bit of it, it’s carving ability, and how munch the board will let you lean into it, is unmatched to any board I’ve ridden before. To my surprise, the Waterborne Surf Adapter provides unexpected stability even at high speeds when hill bombing!My only complaint would be the squeaking of the square bushing but it’s not too much to bare.All in all, my favorite board I own
I'm genuinely impressed by every component, with only the exception of the stock bushings, they blew up very easily with any "real" weight on them (I test rode them @ 220lbs). But I can't fault it too much, because it's clearly not for a person my size. My Daughter, however, whom of which this was for, had zero issues, other than the waterborne adapter for some reason being extra squeaky. Which was weird, but solved easily enough with a spray of penetrating lithium, as opposed to straight grease.But the toughness, and build quality of this board... Has NO equal outside of very expensive carbon fiber models. It's the absolute perfect board for a younger surf-skate beginner, or someone 5'6 or so. I really love the mint color. The board has a great size, I am 5'2. It is super smooth and so much fun to ride! I totally love the concave shape. It even fits on my skateboarding backpack. First I was skeptic because it has no grip tape, but it is fine (my first Penny board). Without grip tape I can easily carry it around without scratching my clothes. It is relatively light to carry around. Happy that I bought it!
I bought the surf skate (ocean blue color) as a gift for my 14-yo daughter. She already knows how to ride a rip stick. We took it to a blacktop recreational trail and she was able to ride and maneuver the skateboard. She fell once or twice but she still had a lot of fun. My 12-yo also enjoyed riding it.I'm not familiar with other boards so I can't compare it, but I do think if you have a place to ride nearby, and you can afford it, it is a nice purchase. I'm glad we bought it.
The surfskate is great - very direct and sensitive, perfect for street and bowl.Unique look, especially in mint (even hardware is mint)!Wheelbase could be bigger, especially if you are medium to tall.One of the best complete with waterborne surf adapter!Penny, you should start to sell spare parts, especially decks. Be sustainable!
This is my first surf skate of any kind. I love that I could pick out a cute, fun color. What made me take the plunge after finding out about them was the sale! I was able to learn how to use it in the first session. It took some getting used to, but is fun to have more continuous movement, not wanting to do fancy airborne tricks, which is exactly what I was wanting out of skateboarding. I like that there is grip to the surface, and the Waterborne truck is not squeaking on mine, as of yet. It was unfortunate that the backpack was out of stock when I ordered, because I wanted to get the discount that they had for it when buying a skate.
This is my first surfskate but not my first Penny Board! I bought a Nickel 9 years ago! but this surfskate it's simply perfect! dimensions, materials, response and so on..high recommended! and what a price by the way ! less than 100 € and you've a better and more durable product than a 300 € wood made surfskate!
