Worth the wait, beautiful ink. Full effect with broad or fude nib.
Exquisite ink, lots of golden shimmer. Dries fast, doesn’t clog in my broad or stub nib. The color reminds me of medieval lapis blue one sees in paintings.
I love the Pelikan Edelstein collection. Each ink is different and has its special qualities. I bought several, so I will not detail each. But suffice it to say that I am well pleased with these products.
This is my first ink since I was at school 35 years ago, so I have little to compare but so far it has delivered smooth writing, is dark enough (but not totally black) and wasn't hugely costly which is important as this is me dipping my toe in the water. I'd buy second colour from this range based on this product.
Best RED I've ever seen. Much better than it shows on the cite. I've made the mistake of reviewing things too soon so I waited on this one. Loved it so much I bought a new Conklin Duraflex to have it available all the time. I have several of the Edelstein inks and enjoy them all - but this one is really special. It comes out wet, but dries quickly. If you enjoy RED ink you need this one.
I use the Pelican Edelstein Garnet to write edits in documents and also to add pop to calendar dates and side notes. It is bold, flows from the my Pelikan demonstrator and a fun ink to use for just about anything.
This is a fantastic ink! Pure, rich red with subtle shading that gives it a spark of life. Writes well on everything from cheap copy paper to Rhodia and Clairefontaine. Definitely prefers to be in a wetter pen to really show off the depth and richness of color. This has become my favorite non-standard ink (read: boring professional ink) to use. Fantastic!
