Holds my Panasonic eva1 camera securely & the handle fits on the side perfectly.
This is my third case in the Air series. I only wish I had gotten a larger one as it fills up quickly with a mirrorless system. I have switched to using it only for strobes.
Very happy with this case. It is much lighter than other Pelican cases. It is the perfect size to store my Polaroid 8x10 Land Film processor with the film holder.
I wanted a secure case for my lenses, and this seemed the best bet to pad them tightly and keep them safe if there's any impact to the case. The pick-n-pluck foam is easy to work with to create a perfect fit for your items.The case itself is well made and lightweight, yet very solid. The latches on the front close securely, and there are holes for locks. The pick-n-pluck is kind of permanent unless you buy a new set of foam inserts, which appear to be about $17 each (you'll likely need at least two if you want to change the configuration at any point).One last note - the foam is deep enough (multiple layers) that I was able to stand my lenses up and fit all of them. You could lay items sides of course, but this configuration worked perfect for me.
I bought this for my Ikelite under water housing (with accessories). Very strong and light, perfect for my use. This is my first Air Pelican case. The problem with all the other I have is that by the time you fill up the case with gear, it turns out too heavy. With this the total weight is amazingly light. The tall shape made the Housing fit in assembeled.
Very secure, not as heavy to haul as older cases
