I needed a case to carry over a dozen small (12) cables and USB power source in when we travel. I bought the smaller brother (#1050) of this design and love the case. I then bought the #1060 and it was perfect. I particularly like the strong hinges and front locking mechanism. The case is a type of polycarbonate and so it will take about any punishment. Both cases were exactly what I was looking for to keep all my USB items in one place and easily transportable.

Bought this on a whim to store small video lights. Now they won't get banged around in my bag. And, good price on B&H daily deal site. Case holds everything, cables, small ball heads. Solid little case, seems as well built as the larger Pelicans I own.

Used this on my raft on a recent 28-day Grand Canyon trip. The box took on water every day I rowed anything big enough to splash over the side. Tried cleaning the seal, double checked the latches. Didn't matter. Everyday it had a puddle inside. It's a worthless piece of junk. Pelican should apologize to anyone who wasted their money on one.

Check out the spect before you measure these out on paper! First take a pensile & paper and Sketch This site out on a piece of paper. it is designed to look like a Micro outside but it really pack a load and protects it from Dirt, Water, & Impact. I have one set up just for my Microlights. Fits 6 lights and all their accessories. I used to use 4 small Pelican cars to hold the same amount of gear. Excellent or Run & Gun shooting!oolp;p=
Works well enough! It?s a sturdy little box and the rubber interior works very nicely for protecting whatever I put in it. It?s been about 3 weeks and I can say I do trust it. I suspect it?s not waterproof but it certainly is crush resistant. I threw my Audeze Isine 10?s in there, using their foam block they come with, and they fit great. I spent those few weeks with it tossed in my bag with my Audeze Isine 10?s and a Fiio BTR5 and never felt they were unsafe. Good stuff here for protecting your precious earphones.
I love this dry box! It’s the perfect size for the stuff I take on my kayak: my iPhone 13 in its case, plus keys and a small camera. Nicely padded inside so nothing gets damaged. It opens and closes easily, unlike my last dry box, which practically took a crowbar to open. This box is really well made. I got the solid lid instead of the clear one because I have found that the sun comes through a clear lid and heats up my phone to the point that it refuses to work!
I purchased this to put in my dry bag for paddle boarding. It doesn’t fit my iPhone 12 max but that’s ok as I measured it ahead of time and wanted it more for my keys and ID anyway. I have since used it and it works great. No more worries of losing my keys or ID every time I open my bag on the water! It also floats. Although I’m not sure for how long. I tried it in my kitchen sink ahead of time ☺️. Just make sure you read the interior measurements as they are quite different from the exterior ones. I don’t imagine many of the new phones would fit inside.
I feel really good about this case as with most Pelican products. This particular one is large enough to hold miscellaneous stuff such as my husband's huge cell phone, wallet and keys. It'll keep things dry and protected from getting bashed around like when you're jamming it into a nook on a kayak trip. Maybe overkill for the top of a backpack but still a good little case.
Had a kayaking accident last week and actually lost my boat in a set of rapids. Had to swim to safety and get out while it was still light outside. Came back the next day to find my friends ducky (that also had my wallet and cell in this exact Pelican case).The water had dropped significantly but the kayak was upside down, lodged against a rock, with the Pelican case submerged. When we retrieved the boat, the Pelican case had caught a bunch of leaves and other debris. Shook off the debris, opened the case, and my iPhone lit up with several missed calls...unbelievable.My phone did have a bit of condensation to be fair but that was probably just from the day before when it was raining/snowing and I was taking pictures.Wish I had a pic of the case but here is how ... I use it for housing/ shielding small electronics/keys/valuables (EDC) for outdoors and waterway pursuits. holds up to usage with rain, accidental spillage. I have not submerged intentionally (that is what the IP certification is for) and everything has been safe. The case liner is removable/ replaceable. For the internal volume, the overall external bulk could presumably be better but the ratio is not very different from competing brands.
