If you want to add a little mechanical or blackpowder aspect to your Pathfinder 2E, this is for you. The book is split into two, half for the mechanical stuff and the other for the gun stuff. It's very easy to add just as much as you want. Lots of options to add these flavors to existing classes.

The Guns and Gears book is really cool. Its divided up with the Gear stuff in the first part of the book, and the guns stuff in the second part. There are 2 new character classes (1 for each), the Inventor and the Gunslinger. There is a new Automaton ancestry in the Gear section of the book. There are new backgrounds for both the gears and guns sections and there are new archetypes as well. What I've read so far leads me to believe that the 2E Gunslinger is a big improvement over the original. The Inventor character looks like a really cool class as well, with tons of new gear related equipment. Obviously, some adventures would be much more accomodating for the Inventor than others. The content of this book brings a lot of cool features and options to my 2E game, but just look at it. Ye gods, it's gorgeous!
