I love Patagonia clothing, back packs, etc. This hoody is so soft to wear. It is very comfortable and is not too heavy. Looks nice with my Patagonia jackets. Very happy with it and very highly recommend it. I actually bought a size Small and Medium in the black and grey ones. Both fit well. I bought a size small so it would be a bit tighter under my jackets. But wearing one alone I would wear. Medium.

This is without a doubt the softest sweater I have ever put on and it looks fantastic, but I am disappointed to have received a sweater that has what looks like the early stages of pilling straight out of the package. I'm disappointed in the product I received considering that 1) I paid $109 CAD for this sweater and don't feel like I got my money's worth given its state, and 2) a large part of the reason I decided to order from Patagonia is that I've only heard and read wonderful things about their supreme quality but this first interaction with their clothing has me doubting that. It's most observable on the back of the sweater at the bottom and at the top, the sleeve cuffs and hip cuff, and the back of the hoodie portion.I'm on the fence whether to return the ... MoreThis is without a doubt the softest sweater I have ever put on and it looks fantastic, but I am disappointed to have received a sweater that has what looks like the early stages of pilling straight out of the package. I'm aware I'm being picky - especially considering that only the wearer would notice the 'flaw', if it's even a flaw... this may well just be a result of the recycled materials the product is made with but I don't have any knowledge in textiles to determine that - but given the price tag and the brand's reputation for quality pieces, I'm knocking two stars off instead of one.

It's not easy buying hoodies online, because of sizing ranges. I'm 5'10" 160lbs and purchased a medium based on the website recommendation. It was baggy upon arrival, but after I shrunk it in the wash & dryer, it fit much better. This is a pretty heavy hoodie. It has inside lining which keeps the body exceptionally warm. I placed my order during the afternoon on Monday and it arrived Wednesday morning. Excellent quality! Time will tell about the durability.

Not sure what the deal is with my sweatshirt . Its super comfortable and loved it when it was brand new . After minimal wearing the material on the surface is no longer smooth its a black hoodie , it has all these tiny little black fuzz balls all over various places on the exterior of the hoodie . Never have had a new hoodie do this . I will wear it around the house but not something Im gonna wear out now with it looking all worn out . Figured the quality would be better than this .
First off make sure you understand the sizing. This is a unisex hoodie do if you wear women's sizing than you must size down by one. I'm an XS in everything and the XXS fit perfectly. For reference I'm 5'1 and 103 lbs. I work from home and live in hoodies all year round. This is by far the absolute best hoodie I've ever owned. I love them so much I bought 6 of them. You will not be disappointed with this hoodie. It's very warm (mid to heavyweight) and great for cooler temps. TTS, not boxy and not super slim. I'd say more of a straight fit. Nice longer length bottom hip, very top thigh. Excellent quality and materials. This is how a hoodie should be made
This hoodie couldn't be any more perfect! The fit is not loose or slim, it's an excellent balance that allows not an inch of too much fabric or too little either so it fits like its tailored just for you. The sleeve length is perfect whether you're relaxed or when your arms are extended, the sleeve is not going to feel constricting which I love since many hoodies besides this one usually fail in. Patagonia as you can tell perfected how to make a hoodie from how I am writing this review! The material is not only good for the world which we love but also it's good for you too! This hoodie is going to keep you cozy when cold as this material is a good weight that keeps me warm in 20 degree temperatures. The logo on the chest is very nice and quality. This hoodie pays for itself with how perfect it is. Thanks Patagonia and thank you everyone for reading my review!
After hearing about Patagonia everywhere from everyone I had had enough and decided that I had to give it a try. I figured a relatively inexpensive (compared to everything else sold by Patagonia at least) hoodie would be the way to go. After wearing this hoodie for pretty much weeks straight with only breaks to sleep and wash it, I can positively say that I love every aspect of wearing it. It's thicker than I thought it would be and soft enough on the inside that I just don't want to take my hands out of the kangaroo pouch. Ever. The hood is well proportioned and doesn't end in a pointy wizard-style tip like other sweatshirts I've had.The design on the front also has nicely vivid coloring that contrasts well with the true black of the fabric. The hood is well proportioned and doesn't end in a pointy wizard-style tip like other sweatshirts I've had.The design on the front also has nicely vivid coloring that contrasts well with the true black of the fabric. I don't anticipate much fading after several washes already. However, while wearing this hoodie may be awesome, putting it on and taking it off is such a hassle. The neck hole is almost comically small. I have a relatively medium-sized dome, nothing spectacular, and it's just an uncomfortably tight squeeze to pull on. There's no chance that earbuds stay in my ears as they are forcibly folded in half trying to get this thing on.Bottom Line: I like this hoodie a lot. It's super comfortable and warm. I do not like the fact that my head feels like the air entering through the neck of an unstretched balloon every time I put it on. I feel for the price paid, Patagonia would have ironed this kink out. Either way, would recommend.
With the Polar Vortex in full swing here in the Midwest, I realized I needed another hoodie to help keep both my body and head warm on my walk to and from classes in the negative degree weather. I knew I needed a hoodie that was made of quality material, comfortable to wear, versatile, looked good, and was going to last me a long time. I’ve been pleased with the Patagonia sweatshirts I’ve purchased in the past so when I saw the P-6 Logo Uprisal Hoody I knew it would get the job done. I received the product less than a week later and was impressed with what I found after my initial unboxing. Right off the bat, my initial expectations were met, and I was excited to put it on.Pros:Simply touching the hoodie allows you to feel the usual good quality associated with ... MoreWith the Polar Vortex in full swing here in the Midwest, I realized I needed another hoodie to help keep both my body and head warm on my walk to and from classes in the negative degree weather. I received the product less than a week later and was impressed with what I found after my initial unboxing. Right off the bat, my initial expectations were met, and I was excited to put it on.Pros:Simply touching the hoodie allows you to feel the usual good quality associated with Patagonia’s products and having worn it to classes already, its thickness has proved the hoodie as a valuable layer beneath my winter coat. On top of that, it definitely feels as though it will make for a good primary layer as the weather inches towards Spring. The hoodie is also extremely comfortable to wear alone or layered up and has a classic clean look to it allowing it to be worn with almost anything.Cons:The fit of the sweatshirt leaves a little bit more to be desired with a tight neckline and long sleeve length relative to the rest of the hoodie. However, these issues may vary from wearer to wearer depending on their build. Conclusion:The hoodie is a classic staple of any wardrobe and the Patagonia P-6 Logo Uprisal Hoody is no exception. Being Fair Trade Certified means that this hoodie is made from 95% recycled materials so on top of all the previously mentioned benefits, you can be sure you are helping the environment and supporting fair labor conditions worldwide at the same time. This hoodie is definitely a product that will last me a long time and will provide good use throughout the various seasons and perfect for chilly fall nights. So, if you’re in the market for a new hoodie that will last for years to come and keep you warm in the process, then this product will fit the bill.
What happened to Patagonias P-6 Zip Hoodys. These were the best sweatshirts and you cant find them anywhere, not even used. Please make them again Patagonia without all the writing and logos, just simple, well made, comfortable, long lasting, Zip Hoody. The zip hoody is so much better than the pull over for comfort and being able to vent heat. They used to make it in the organic cotton and it was very soft and comfy yet durable. I wore them almost everyday for my work as a tennis coach and you cant get them anymore. Would be great if they came in good blues and greens. Thank you
I purchased this hoodie as a gift for a teenage in Argentina. The material is superb and he was stoked to where the brand name. Patagonia is a province of Argentina shared with neighboring Peru. Everyone in Buenos Aires has heard about this American brand but have no access to buying it!! The people were impressed by the mission of Patagonia as a conservationist of the environment. The black color of the hoodie looks great on the teen.
