You’ve read the hype around Parlux - and it’s all true. I’ve spent my life using $30 hairdryers and having my colour fade quicker and my hair dry out. The Parlux shouldn’t do this. I have to say that it took me a couple of go’s to use it correctly - it’s pretty powerful so I was getting frizzy hair at the end. My tips are to dry in one direction only (root to tip), don’t hold the dryer too close, section your hair, towel-dry first and use a heat protectant spray. My hair looks glossy and sleek and lasts like that for a week. You can use three heat settings and a cold blast and it’s easy to hold and small enough for travel. Recommend this!

Fabulous hairdryer. Read the reviews and my own hairdresser uses Parlux in the salon. Decided to bite the bullet and splash out on the most expensive hairdryer I’ve ever bought! It doesn’t disappoint. Light to hold and control buttons in good place. Very pleased.
This is the first time I have purchased an expensive hair dryer. A friend highly recommended this hair dryer and I’m glad I bought it. I have thin mainly straight (slightly wavy) hair. I was struggling with fly aways and frizzy hair. I decided to treat myself to this hair dryer hoping it would help tame my frizzy hair. It has helped so much. My hair is much smoother using this hair dryer . It’s nice and light & easy to use and much quieter then my old hair dryer. I highly recommend it.

I truly believe you cannot review some thing accurately unless you have had it for a long time I loved this blower so much and then it caught on fire out of nowhere after about eight months of using it twice a week to dry my hair. Even after that experience I liked it so much I got another one (thinking the first one just may have been a lemon... a dangerous lemon) but the one only lasted six months before the plug on it actually broke one of the prongs is now loose and it's too dangerous to plug into my outlet. And no I do not pull wires out of walls from the cord!! My best friend also purchased this blower and it went on fire for her also after about a year.
After my old VS travel hair dryer died after many years, I decided to splurge on a new dryer. I did some research and settled on the Parlux advance light given the reviews and general love for this brand and make all over the net. I found a tester in store and you can tell this is a superior product immediately after comparing to other dryers. I don't really style my hair, but I wanted something that would dry it quickly, wasn't too loud and in the off chance I needed to style it, I could. And this dryer is all that and more. After the first time drying my hair, it was super airy and bouncy, nothing like before. And it took 5 mins for mid length, thick hair. Definitely worth it and I'm excited to use it again and again.
