We have been buying pampers pure for 3 months from target for our new baby. He has been having blows almost everyday since and we were wondering why. At first we thought it was user error, but we proved that wasn't the issue. Then we started to think it was normal and that maybe it was to just be expected to always deal with blow outs almost everyday, but we were wrong. We found out that many other parents had the same issue. Something is majorly wrong with these diapers and I don't know exactly what, but they are NOT durable enough for babies normal bowel movements. I changed to plant based huggies almost 3 weeks ago, and magically the everyday blowouts issue completely went away and it hasn't happened since. That isn't just a coincidence. I went from daily blowouts for 3 months, and then changed to plant based huggies and now there are no blowouts at all for almost 3 weeks straight. So many of our baby's light colored clothes were ruined with poo stains during the past 3 months because of these diapers.

While these diapers work well about 75% of the time, the issues we have are ones we can’t ignore, leaving us on the hunt for another diaper that works for us. First, since day 1 of bringing our newborn home and using these, we have at least once a day leaks out of the side of the diaper. We have tried everything to ensure a good fit and still will randomly find him soaked on his side. This has happened with both the newborn and size 1 diapers. In addition, we recently transitioned to 1s and with these diapers there is a horrible chemical smell. Some diapers out of the package have the scent but the rest have this smell once he goes to the bathroom. It isn’t a urine smell but a very strong chemical type smell. Both of these issues lead us to changing diapers much ... MoreWhile these diapers work well about 75% of the time, the issues we have are ones we can’t ignore, leaving us on the hunt for another diaper that works for us. Ive been using these diapers for 3 plus years on both of my boys. Never an issue. I really liked them, but my last purchase, about a week or two ago, i noticed the diapers were thinner. Not only did they feel different, they are leaving long fabric strings all over my baby's genitals! It takes me over 10 minutes to change his diapers every time because I try to pick all these long stringy pieces off of him! It's disgusting. And I'm disgusted. Paying as much as I am for diapers and dealing with this is a disgrace. I will no longer buy pampers!

When we first saw Pampers Pure, we were excited to try them out. They did not disappoint and far surpassed my expectations. The fit is amazing, not snug and more forgivable with those thick thigh babies than others we have used. They’re soft and easy on babies skin which is a huge importance for us as allergies and having the hypoallergenic stamp gives an extra layer of protection from skin issues. We have not had an issues with rashes either since using them which is just another win for us on the scorecard. They don’t leak, they hold for a heavy wetter at night for 12 hour protection and the best part is my little girl is comfortable in them. She is not slowed down and actually moves far more freely as the leg elastic area is more comfortable and not too ... MoreWhen we first saw Pampers Pure, we were excited to try them out. She is not slowed down and actually moves far more freely as the leg elastic area is more comfortable and not too restrictive for her. The price point is fantastic. We love Pampers Pure and would totally recommend trying these out for your baby!
My son only wore this diaper for an hour before it fell apart exposing the strings and inside of the diaper. He has also been getting rashes from the diaper which he never use to. This has been happening only recently. I've been buying these diapers for over a year now. I use to only recommend these diapers cause they were perfect for my son's sensitive eczema skin and they would absorb nicely. Only recently the diapers feel more ruff to the touch causing skin irritation and coming apart quickly. They must have changed these diapers and it is for the worse. I don't recommend buying these anymore. I now have to find a new brand for my baby. Very disappointing.
I am not sure what happened to these diapers. Was there a formula change? My oldest daughter, now 7, started with pampers sensitive then switched used pampers pure when it first hit the market. We loved them. So when I had my second child in January we went with Pampers Pure again. It was great until this last box. We've been on size 3 diapers for months but this last box we bought has changed. It no longer says 'back' on the diapers (no biggie) but now when it gets wet it just wreaks of pee! It doesn't even have to be full, but it will smell like she is just covered in urine. Bring back the old formula!! I'm now looking for a new diaper.
10/10 recommend. We were gifted a lot of different diapers (5 months worth) at our baby shower. When it came time to purchase, I knew I was sticking with Pampers Pure. We love the feel, absorbency & prints. After our fancy dinner out last night, I knew I needed to write a review. We took our daughter with us to our anniversary dinner…1/2 way through my husband took her to the car to change her bc she clearly loaded her diaper. He put the diaper behind the wheel hidden like we always do so we don’t let it sit in the car while we finish our task, then grab it when we leave. Except we went to leave, the car next to us was parked so close to us he had to move the car to get her in. Welp, in the chaos he reversed right over the diaper. I can say confidently that Pampers Pure can hold the weight of a Jeep Cherokee bc that thing didn’t even have a mark on it & I watched him drive right over it. We will only be continuing to use these moving forward.
I really wanted to love these diapers because they don’t have many harmful chemicals, but they worked terribly for us. We were using Huggies diapers from the hospital for our now 2 week old and they worked great, and when we switched to these at home she has had multiple leaks that have drenched her clothes in urine several times. Never an issue with the other brand. I’ll be returning the remaining inventory we purchased. I’m not sure if they changed the design due to all the positive reviews (and quite a few recent negative ones). Two stars for the design and clean nature.
First time trying these type of diapers from pampers. These diapers don’t have that overwhelming smell like the swaddler version does but they do kind of stink once peed/soiled in. Also noticed half way through this “Pure” box of diapers that my baby has developed a unsightly rash on his skin, the WOSRT ive seen to date. Thought it could have been something he ate but It got worse if i skipped applying the diaper rash cream. Confirming to me that its the diaper. Now i have to throw out half a box of diapers that were more expensive than the swaddlers. Waste if money.
We used Pampers Pure diapers for my daughter from birth to 3 years old when she became fully potty trained. We have tried diapers from SO MANY other brands and even other lines within Pampers in the past 3 years, but we would always go back to Pampers Pure. We never had any problems with leaks or blowouts when we were using these diapers. Even while our little one was potty training and we started using pull-ups for her independence, we still used Pampers pure diapers for bed time because we've found them to be just as absorbent as overnights. Diaper rashes were few and far between because she stayed dry in these super absorbent diapers. We still have so much diaper cream that was given as a baby shower gift because we hardly had to use it. They are very soft, super absorbent, reasonably priced, and always fit well on our child from infancy to toddlerhood. Highly recommend.
